Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, August 23, tease that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will break out of the lab while Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) face off. Paulina Price-Carver (Jackée Harry) will also have a special request, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
First, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) will try to settle Stefan down now that he’s awake. Stefan will be an agitated mess as he tries to figure out what’s going on, but Dr. Rolf will provide some answers.
After Stefan realizes Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) thinks he died years ago, he’ll want to reunite with her ASAP.
Days spoilers say Stefan will eventually make a quick getaway, so Dr. Rolf will have to fill Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) on his lab breakout later.
In the meantime, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will corner Ava DiMera (Tamara Braun) to make some accusations regarding Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
Since EJ saw Ava and Johnny in a close moment, he’ll act like Ava must be seducing his son.
Ava might argue that Johnny is simply being a good friend, but she may also point out that he’s an adult.
EJ can’t control Johnny’s every move, so Ava may think EJ would be wise to remember that.
Over with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), she’ll land in the middle of a heated argument.
Steve is feeling extra protective of his family right now due to Orpheus (George DelHoyo), but Stephanie clearly thinks he’s overreacting.
Stephanie may push Steve to back off since she’d prefer to deal with her mystery PR client on her own.
Steve doesn’t want Stephanie to walk into a potential trap, so there’ll be plenty of bickering until Kayla intervenes.
Although Steve will ultimately apologize, he’ll still do what he feels is right. Days spoilers say that’ll mean crashing Stephanie’s mystery meeting later this week.
Until then, Paulina will have a favor to ask Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
That could involve Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) political career and Paulina’s desire to see him become the next governor.
Paulina may think John and Marlena could give Abe a little nudge in the right direction, but will they grant her request?
Marlena and John could easily argue that Abe needs to make up his own mind about what the future holds.
Whatever the case, Paulina will turn to John and Marlena for assistance and hope for the best!
