Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 23, teases that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) will face a setback while EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) blames Ava DiMera (Tamara Braun) for seducing Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will also get stuck in a family feud, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on DOOL
In the lab, Dr. Rolf will urge Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) to relax, but that’ll be impossible for his newly awakened patient.
Stefan will demand to know what happened, so Dr. Rolf may ask the last thing he remembers.
Although Stefan will recall getting shot, that’s when everything went dark in his mind. Once Stefan learns he’s been “dead” for years – at least to Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) – he’ll want to find her right away.
Dr. Rolf won’t be able to stop Stefan’s escape, so the doc will have some bad news to report later.
Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) will eventually find out Stefan has gone missing from the lab, so he’ll worry about the possibility of a “Stabi” reunion.
Other Days spoilers say Paulina Price-Carver (Jackée Harry) will hope for backup.
Since Paulina wants Abe Carver (James Reynolds) to run for governor, that may be why she turns to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) for assistance.
John and Marlena are Abe’s good friends, so they would have some influence over him.
However, Marlena and John may think Paulina needs to cool it and let Abe decide whether this career move is right for him.
At the DiMera mansion, EJ will object to the closeness he witnessed between Johnny and Ava. From where EJ’s standing, it’ll seem like Ava is trying to seduce Johnny.
Ava may deny it and point out Johnny simply treats her with kindness. That said, if something steamy were to happen between Ava and Johnny, she may not think it’s really any of EJ’s business.
Johnny is a grown man and more than capable of deciding whose bed he lands in. Ava likes getting under EJ’s skin, so she may remind him of that on Tuesday’s Days episode.
Across town, Kayla will get stuck in a showdown between Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).
Although Stephanie thinks her father’s being paranoid, Steve feels like Stephanie isn’t taking Orpheus’ (George DelHoyo) threat seriously.
Since Steve is convinced Orpheus is Stephanie’s anonymous PR client, he wants to attend the meeting with her.
That could be what sparks the family conflict and forces Kayla to play peacemaker.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kayla will do her best to settle the dispute, but Steve will remain on edge over Orpheus and his next move.
