Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 13, reveals that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) attacked Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) for a fake Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) rescue. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) also loved Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) fierce side, so let’s discuss all the Days action.
At the DiMera mansion on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, EJ was having a nightcap with Nicole when Sister Mary Moira Banks (Stacy Haiduk) walked in.
Sister Mary Moira ripped into Nicole for being a sinner, so EJ rushed to her defense.
Nicole insisted there was no need for that and admitted she’d lived a sinful life.
Sister Mary Moira was horrified as Nicole talked about her lust, adultery, divorces and the fact that she’d convinced Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) to get an abortion.
Nicole got in Sister Mary Moira’s face about all this, but she apologized to EJ after his aunt left the room.
EJ assured Nicole that he liked seeing that “fierce, take-no-prisoners Nicole” that he first fell in love with and welcomed her back.
After Nicole admitted her relationship with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) was over for good, EJ said he wasn’t sorry about that. Eric stifled Nicole’s fire and spirit, so EJ assured her that she was better off without him.
At Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) place, she finished up dinner with Eric and gushed over him introducing her to Ethiopian food.
Eric was sorry for complaining to Sloan all day, but she insisted she didn’t mind.
Since Eric worried that he’d run into Jada and take his anger out on her, Sloan suggested he didn’t have to go home.
The one caveat was that they’d have to share the bed, but Sloan noted that nothing steamy had to happen – though she certainly wouldn’t mind if it did.
Later, Eric got under the covers with Sloan and talked about how he was pushed into the mold of the good twin since Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) was the troublemaker.
Sloan felt they were both entitled to their anger when people wronged them and thought Eric should try doing what he wanted instead of what other people expected of him.
Eric kissed Sloan passionately, but she pulled back for a moment to make sure she wasn’t taking advantage of him since he’d been drinking.
However, Eric assured Sloan that he was thinking clearly. This was what Eric wanted and needed, so he resumed kissing Sloan as they prepared to make love.
At the Horton house, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) got Leo to pose as the musclebound clown for $300.
Leo donned a Halloween muscle costume and platform shoes to make himself look bigger than he actually was.
Meanwhile, Xander pretended to wake up next to Bonnie at the warehouse.
Bonnie thought this was some kind of act and continued to believe Xander was the kidnapper despite his own tied-up predicament.
It wasn’t until Leo came barging in wearing the clown mask and his fake muscle disguise that Bonnie changed her mind.
Leo claimed he was going to kill Bonnie, but Xander broke free from his restraints and fake attacked him.
Once they put on a brawl show for Bonnie, Xander let Leo get the upper hand and took off after him. Later, Xander returned to untie Bonnie and said that the creepy clown kidnapper got away.
Bonnie was more concerned about Xander at that point and repeatedly thanked him for saving her life.
Back with Leo, he got his payment from Gwen and let her know their plan worked like a charm. Gwen let Leo keep the muscle suit and seemed pleased with his work.
Leo pointed out that Gwen turned Xander from the number one suspect to the town hero overnight, so he hoped she could find some way to collect on her huge favor.
At the motel, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) stopped by to see if Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey) had info since he couldn’t find Bonnie.
Sarah confessed that Xander was missing too and admitted to previously thinking he might’ve been Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) accomplice.
Justin pushed Sarah to share her theory with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), so Sarah went to the Kiriakis mansion with Justin and almost did.
Suddenly, Bonnie and Xander returned before Sarah could spill. That led to Bonnie filling Rafe, Sarah, Justin and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) on her second kidnapping ordeal.
Bonnie insisted that Xander saved her life and kept playing up how he was a hero. Until the real clown culprit was caught, Bonnie refused to leave the house again.
Back in their motel room on Tuesday’s Days episode, Sarah kissed Xander and apologized since she nearly accused him during her conversation with Rafe.
Xander was understanding and looked guilty when Sarah went to draw him a hot bath.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will continue digging a bigger and bigger hole for himself, so stay tuned to DOOL.
