Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 22, teases that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will return to grill Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) while Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) revelation rocks Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
When Jack shows back up in town out of the blue, both Gwen and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will be shocked.
Jack will corner Gwen to interrogate her about Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) vanishing act and any involvement she might’ve had.
That could rile Xander up since he tends to get very protective of Gwen.
Xander may think it’s unfair for Jack to make accusations without proof and push him to trust that Gwen’s changed.
Of course, Gwen indeed played a big role in shipping Abigail off to that deserted island.
Gwen’s been telling a mountain of lies, so she should feel guiltier than ever once Jack’s putting her through a grilling session.
Next on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will have some info that might help Chad locate Abigail.
That info could spark something for Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) since we know he’ll come up with a lead that could change everything.
In the island bunker, Days spoilers say Sarah’s behavior will catch Steve and Kayla off guard.
They’ll be overjoyed over this reunion, but Sarah will make comments that just don’t add up.
Kayla is a doctor, so she’ll assess Sarah’s mental state and start worrying she’s had some sort of breakdown.
If not, Kayla will guess Sarah might be dealing with selective amnesia due to everything she’s been through.
Unfortunately, Sarah’s problems run deeper than amnesia.
Sarah believes she’s another person entirely, so Kayla and Steve will reel when Sarah reveals that she’s Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler).
Renee died decades ago, so that won’t make sense to Steve and Kayla.
Although Kayla and Steve will try to remind Sarah of her love for Xander, she’ll insist Tony is the one and only man she wants!
Sarah will ultimately launch Renee’s life story, but it’ll take a couple episodes for her to cram in all the details.
In Sarah’s bedroom, Kristen will aim her gun at Abigail and show her who’s boss.
Kristen obviously won’t be happy about Abigail drugging her, but turnabout is fair play.
Kristen won’t hold too much of a grudge since she’ll be willing to spill what happened to Sarah.
Kristen will open up about Sarah figuring out she was impersonating Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) and the threat that posed to her plan.
Kristen will talk about kidnapping Sarah and the struggle that ensued in the DiMera secret room.
In an effort to regain the upper hand, Kristen grabbed a nearby syringe and used it on Sarah.
It won’t take long for Abigail to realize Sarah was injected with the same drug used on Abby herself – the one that caused awful delusions and forced her back into a psychiatric facility.
Kristen will confess that Sarah isn’t really Sarah anymore due to reading Renee’s journal.
Sarah somehow soaked up Renee’s entries and believes she made those memories herself.
Speaking of memories, EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) will have some horrible ones now that he’s seen Clyde Weston (James Read) again.
EJ was unlucky enough to get Clyde for a cellmate, so he’ll flash back to the night a traitorous DiMera henchman shot him on Clyde’s orders.
Although EJ survived his “death” as many Days characters tend to do, he still hates Clyde with a passion – and rightly so!
Clyde will taunt EJ and perhaps threaten to finish the deadly job, so EJ will have to be careful around this Weston wildcard.
