Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 11, teases that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will get rid of Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) while Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) faces a Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) shocker. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will also turn to Belle Brady (Martha Madison) for help, so there’ll be some big surprises happening all across Salem.
At the DiMera mansion, possessed Johnny will try to throw Susan off the trail. Johnny will insist he’s Susan’s grandson and not the devil, but Susan won’t buy it!
After Susan keeps pushing, the devil will finally reveal himself and confirm that he’s taken control of Johnny’s body.
Days spoilers say Susan will whip out her cross and try to fight the devil off. She’ll be determined to get the real Johnny back, but the devil will refuse to let Susan thwart his evil intentions.
Possessed Johnny will touch Susan’s forehead and blow some sort of strange powder in the air.
Johnny’s diabolical moves will make it so Susan doesn’t remember a thing by the end of their confrontation.
Susan should be rather confused at first, but Johnny will convince her that everything is fine in Salem.
Since Susan will have no memory of her earlier premonition or her faceoff with the devil himself, she’ll decide her work there is done and will let EJ know she’s leaving town again.
Speaking of EJ, he’ll need a huge favor from Belle. EJ will push Belle to help him fight the kidnapping charges in court, but Belle will battle concerns.
Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) wouldn’t approve of her sister taking her former flame’s case, especially since she believes EJ is a guilty man.
Belle won’t know what to believe, but she certainly wouldn’t put it past EJ to abduct Sami after all the stunts he’s pulled over the years.
Even so, EJ will promise he’s innocent this time around. He’ll argue that he was set up and beg Belle to represent him, but she’ll struggle to get on board.
Fortunately, Belle will step up to assist EJ before the week’s over. Until then, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will remain hopeful about patching things up with Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers).
Lani called her “Mom” and pushed Paulina out of the chandelier’s path at the DiMera mansion, so Paulina hopes all of that meant something.
Of course, Lani won’t want Paulina thinking one near-death experience fixed their broken relationship!
That said, Lani will be glad Paulina survived and will have a little less fury in her heart.
That’ll be a step in the right direction for Paulina and Lani, but the same can’t be said for Chanel and Johnny’s marriage.
Chanel thought they were headed for a bright future, but Johnny just humiliated her with a public breakup.
After Tripp shows up in Paulina’s hospital exam room to look at her twisted ankle, he’ll find out about the catastrophic wedding bash.
Tripp may try to call Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) again – just to check in and make sure she gives Chanel his sympathy.
However, Allie will be pretty busy hitting the sheets with Chanel across town!
After Chanel pressures Allie to give into what they’re both feeling, they’ll sleep together and make a complicated situation even more complicated.
Next on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Shawn will help Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) with a significant choice.
Ciara and Ben will struggle as they ponder a manila envelope, so we’ll see if it might contain baby gender confirmation or maybe a more stressful problem.
Either way, Days spoilers say Ben and Ciara will be in this together!
They’ll get guidance from Shawn as well as each other, so Ciara and Ben will no doubt make the right choice for their family.
