Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, January 4, tease that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will make an alarming SOS call that brings Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to the rescue. Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will also start a search for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
At Basic Black, Nicole will arrive at her desk and make a disturbing discovery.
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) cut Duke the teddy bear’s head off and left the remnants scattered on Nicole’s desk.
Days spoilers say Nicole will find those pieces and assume someone targeted Duke for revenge.
Nicole will think it’s obvious someone wanted to make a statement here, so she’ll freak out and call Rafe over to help.
An already angry Ava will become downright furious when Rafe bails on her to come to Nicole’s aid.
However, Ava will take some satisfaction in knowing she scared Nicole a bit with her vengeful move.
In the meantime, Rafe will get updates on the teddy bear drama along with Nicole’s theory of what happened.
Nicole will feel like Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) might’ve beheaded Duke as a twisted way of getting back at her.
Rafe won’t really think that sounds like something Sami would do, especially when she has more of a motive to hate EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) right now.
As much as Rafe won’t want to think it’s possible, his mind will drift to Ava.
Rafe will have to wonder if maybe Ava found out the truth about his Halloween hookup with Nicole, so he’ll plan to confront her soon enough.
Days spoilers say Rafe will hope to nail down just how much Ava knows!
Over with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), she’ll decide she’s not willing to let Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) head out on his Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) hunt alone.
Kayla will think she can prove helpful as Steve galivants all over looking for Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) ex, so she’ll indeed join the search.
Steve and Kayla will land in Italy in the coming episodes, so this is sure to be quite an adventure.
Speaking of adventures, Abigail will tackle one as well – though the reason behind it will be rather troubling.
Sarah is missing and now has a phone number that’s out of service, so Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) could use some assistance tracking her down.
That’s why Abigail will agree to pitch in and hopefully get some answers through her investigation.
Across town, Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will fix his friendship with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).
After a conversation with Steve and Kayla, Xander may have a better idea of how to approach things with Jack.
Kayla and Steve might also fill Xander in on their Kristen search plans, but he’ll eventually turn his attention to making amends with his buddy.
Jack may not be able to forget the mistakes Xander’s make, but he’ll at least be able to forgive them.
Xander will be overjoyed when Jack says willing to move forward as pals – and he’ll hope Jack’s going to patch things up with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) soon as well.
It looks like Jack will reach out to Gwen and grant Xander’s wish, but that’ll bring even more guilt for his still secretive daughter!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen’s situation will get even worse since she knows Sarah is being held captive on a remote island, so stay tuned to DOOL.
