Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tuesday, July 12 Recap – Chad Ruins Sami’s Fairytale – Clyde’s Airtight Alibi – Eric’s Vision

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 12, reveals that Clyde Weston (James Read) had an airtight alibi while Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) had a disturbing vision. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) also ruined Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) fairytale, so here’s how all the Days drama went down.

First on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) admitted he wasn’t sure when Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) bender happened, but he assumed it was recent due to the huge gash on his dad’s hand.

Will also told Chad about Lucas claiming he felt guilty over Sami’s skiing accident, which didn’t make sense considering Sami was clearly over it and marrying him.

After Will talked to Chad about what a good person Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was, he promised to be there for Chad anytime – and the same went for Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker).

Chad broke down in tears as he accepted Will’s comforting hug.

Meanwhile, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) bickered as they finished decorating for the wedding.

Allie took a jab about Johnny’s red suit and didn’t think his efforts to stand out would help him win Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).

After Allie said that Chanel was bi like her, she felt that they got each other.

Johnny called Allie’s attention to a stuffed animal she thought she lost when she was a child.

Once Johnny confessed to stealing it, he insisted he’d take Chanel away from Allie, too.

In Lucas’ hotel suite, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) decided Clyde was guilty and they could just move on.

That said, Kate wondered if Lucas really wanted to marry Sami with this kidnapping secret between them.

Lucas was adamant about keeping his role in the abduction under wraps and suggested he was more like Kate than she was willing to admit.

Back with Chad, he got a phone call from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) about Clyde’s airtight alibi.

Thanks to solid security footage, Rafe knew there was no way Clyde could’ve been at the DiMera mansion that night.

Chad was discouraged, but Rafe assured him that this was just a setback and that they’d catch the person responsible.

Once Chad hung up, he started thinking back to moments that made Lucas look guilty – like Will mentioning the gash and Rafe mentioning that Abigail probably gave her killer wounds of their own.

Outside the pub on Tuesday’s Days episode, Sami interrupted EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) conversation.

Since they were discussing how EJ slept with Belle, Nicole insisted she’d be happy to tell Sami what they were talking about.

After EJ jumped in, he acted like they were just talking about Sami’s marriage to Lucas being the biggest mistake of her life.

Sami fired back about her marriages to EJ being mistakes instead, so there was a big fight about EJ, Sami and Nicole’s histories of cheating.

Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) eventually walked over, so the confrontation settled down – though EJ urged Sami to check kidnapper Lucas’ luggage for chloroform before her honeymoon.

Next, Roman privately questioned Sami about her faceoff with EJ and her complicated feelings, but Sami thought that her love for Lucas was all that mattered and was ready to wed.

Later, Allie found Sami in the bridal preparation area of the church and wished her mom well on her big day.

Both Sami and Allie thought that this marriage felt right.

At the townhouse, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) brought up Nicole’s marriage to Rafe during a conversation with Eric.

Eric pointed out that Nicole had moved on, so he wasn’t going to interfere now that they had tied the knot.

Besides, Eric felt that today should be all about Sami and Lucas, so he headed to the church with Marlena.

Once the wedding got underway, Eric led the happy couple through the ceremony.

When Eric got to the part about asking for any objections, he suddenly imagined he was marrying Nicole and Rafe.

That caused a delay and left Sami insisting Eric didn’t need to offer so much time. Sami argued that those with objections could keep them to themselves anyway!

Eric was able to snap out of his weird Rafe and Nicole moment before focusing on the real ceremony. Sami’s vows included a speech about Lucas saving her when she was kidnapped, so he seemed upset.

Lucas ditched the speech he had planned and admitted he hadn’t always been the man Sami deserved. Nevertheless, Lucas felt that would change today and vowed to always be Sami’s hero from now on.

Rings were exchanged before Eric almost pronounced the couple husband and wife, but Chad barged in and grabbed Lucas violently.

After Chad demanded to know if Lucas murdered Abigail, Eric thought it was just his grief talking.

Will agreed since he couldn’t see why Lucas would want to kill Abigail, but Chad said it was because she knew Lucas’ dirty little secret – that he kidnapped Sami!

Back with Nicole, she wondered why EJ didn’t throw the news that he slept with Belle in Sami’s face.

EJ acted like he was protecting Belle, but Nicole suspected it had something to do with EJ’s lingering love for Sami.

Once EJ took off, Nicole looked pensive as she thought back to Eric showing up with something to tell her.

Rafe shook Nicole from her deep thoughts and filled her in on the latest investigation setback since Clyde was innocent.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe will keep searching for the truth, so don’t miss what’s ahead on DOOL.
