Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, July 19, tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will face some cellmate drama while Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) hires Detective Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu). Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) memories will also be unlocked, so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
At Statesville, Gwen will get an unpleasant surprise when she learns Kristen is her new cellmate.
There’ll be some bickering right off the bat, especially since Kristen will no doubt act like she’s running the show!
Meanwhile, Rafe will carry out a job interview and try to get some help at the Salem PD.
With Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) gone, Rafe could definitely use another detective on his team.
Once Rafe asks Jada some questions, he’ll like her answers and officially hire her.
The timing couldn’t be better since Rafe needs some extra assistance on Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder investigation.
Speaking of that murder investigation, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will kick off her hypnosis session with Lucas and work to crack the case.
After Lucas is under, he’ll indeed face some shocking flashbacks as his memories of that night rise to the surface.
Days spoilers say Lucas will remember how he cut his hand, but it had nothing to do with stabbing Abigail.
However, that knife might come into play another way if Lucas remembers someone else holding it!
Lucas will wind up pointing the finger at someone by the end of all this – and it looks like it’ll be Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
While Lucas is busy with Marlena in the interrogation room, Sarah will agree to marry Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).
Xander doesn’t want to waste any more time, especially since this situation with Abigail has been a reminder of how precious and fleeting life can be.
Although Sarah was thrown by Xander’s latest marriage proposal, she’ll quickly decide there’s nothing she’d love more than to marry him today.
The only problem is Xander doesn’t have Sarah’s engagement ring since he pawned it to buy Gwen’s.
Nevertheless, Xander will hope to fix that by heading back to the pawn shop and seeing if they still have the ring he originally bought for Sarah.
It sounds like everything will go according to plan since Xander will bump into Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and have to listen to him gush about Sarah’s bling.
Afterward, Sarah will pay Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) a visit and presumably spread the word about her impending nuptials.
Although Maggie will remain worried about Sarah’s mental state, she’ll embrace her daughter and hope things are turning around.
Days spoilers say Leo will also have a run-in with Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo), so he may be the one to tell her that Clyde Weston (James Read) has been released.
There’ll be some news story that Leo shows Nancy on his tablet, so he might insist Lucas is the newest suspect on the hot seat.
Later, Leo will spy Nancy and Clyde talking, so he’ll worry that Clyde could spot him and rat him out over the stolen jewelry.
Now that Leo has gotten tangled up in such a mess, he’ll have to work hard to stay out of trouble.
