Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 21, reveals that the TR Coates (William Christian) shooter truth was exposed – and Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) made a disturbing discovery. Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) also caught the bouquet, so let’s talk about the latest Days drama.
At the pub on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) spread the word about her Juneteenth wedding, which Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) was happy to provide food for.
After Paulina told Roman and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) that she didn’t have an officiant yet, she admitted she didn’t want to ask Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) after all the mayhem of her last ceremony.
When Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) appeared, Paulina thought this was perfect since he was a priest.
Eric had to explain why he was kicked out of the priesthood, but he was willing to officiate anyway since he was still licensed.
At the DiMera mansion on Tuesday’s Days episode, Chanel showed up with treats from Sweet Bits and offered her condolences to Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) family.
Once they discussed Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) death, talk turned to all the rushed wedding plans for Paulina.
Since Chanel needed to hire a videographer, Johnny said he’d do it for free.
Chanel was a bit hesitant to accept the offer, but she agreed once Johnny suggested this wasn’t about winning her back.
In the town square, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) passed along the wedding cake she made for Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) special day and scored an invite to the celebration.
When Abe ran into Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) next, she also got an invitation.
At the Horton house, Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs) talked to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) about how they were all family now. There was discussion about Juneteenth’s history as they all looked forward to the nuptials.
At Lani’s apartment, she was jittery and kept telling herself to get it together. Unfortunately, a vision of bloody TR arrived at Lani’s door, so she slammed it closed on him.
Lani tried to tell herself that TR wasn’t real and warned him to go away when he seemingly knocked again.
However, it turned out to be Theo following his flight, so Lani pulled him into a relieved hug and claimed she thought he was a problematic neighbor.
As TR visions continued to taunt Lani, Theo was uneasy to discover how rattled she was.
When Theo brought up his concerns to Eli in private, Eli downplayed everything and acted like Lani would be back to her old self soon.
Once everyone gathered for the Juneteenth wedding celebration, Johnny and Allie weren’t happy to cross paths.
The twins thought each other’s excuses for being there were awfully convenient, so there was plenty of love triangle tension.
Meanwhile, Eric shared an awkward moment with Nicole before kicking off the ceremony.
Abe and Paulina said some lovely vows to each other before Eric got to the part about objections.
TR seemed ready to object in Lani’s mind, but Eric continued and officially married the happy couple.
After Paulina and Abe jumped the broom, it was time for the bouquet tossing.
Chanel caught it, so Johnny suggested all she needed now was a groom – though Allie piped up to point out that a wife was also an option.
The reception was in full swing with cake and drinks when Lani finally spoke up for a toast.
Lani had finally had enough of all these TR visions and couldn’t allow Paulina to protect her anymore.
Paulina and Eli both tried to stop Lani from ruining the cover-up, but Olivia pushed them to let Lani speak. Lani finally confessed that she was the one who shot TR, not Paulina.
