Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 7, reveals that Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) overnight stay thrilled EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) also busted Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) looking cozy, so here’s how all the Days drama played out.
When Marlena showed up at Shawn’s place on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, she found him feeding Jan a bite of food. Shawn explained how he was trying to get Jan to eat healthy, but Marlena thought Jan was capable of feeding herself.
Marlena also insisted she couldn’t be Jan’s therapist, but Jan felt this was her last chance to be a good mom and pleaded for the baby’s sake until Marlena relented. Jan was ready to start right away, but Marlena decided they’d kick things off tomorrow.
Later on Tuesday’s Days episode, Jan was pleased over how she was connecting with Shawn. The mom-to-be talked to her baby and seemed hopeful about where things might go from here.
At the bistro, Belle threw back some drinks and talked to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) about her legal separation. John seemed concerned about Belle’s connection to EJ and thought EJ could be using Belle for revenge on Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).
Belle got riled up over the notion – and things got worse once Marlena showed up to announce she was going to be Jan’s therapist. After Belle ranted about her stalker living in her home and having Shawn’s baby, she scoffed over Marlena stepping up to heal Jan as well.
Belle suggested Marlena and John should just adopt Jan before leaving in a huff. Marlena worried that maybe she should bow out of being Jan’s therapist, but John felt that a sane Jan would be good for everyone.
In the town square, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) bickered over who Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) should be with, but she didn’t like all the pressure and chose herself until she could decide between the twins.
In the meantime, Chanel assured Allie that she could have her job back at the bakery and took off. Johnny acted like Allie was working an angle, but they finally decided to put their differences aside by sharing fries like they were kids.
Outside the pub, EJ and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) argued over which twin would win Chanel’s heart and traded jabs over Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Although EJ intended to prove Lucas kidnapped Sami, Lucas acted like EJ was a sore loser and wound up decking him in the face.
A brawl broke out as Allie and Johnny arrived to send the men to their corners. Johnny and Allie took a raincheck on their shared fries so that they could deal with their unruly fathers.
Later, Belle showed up at the DiMera mansion and asked EJ if she could stay in one of the guest rooms tonight. EJ seemed delighted and told Belle that they’d be happy to have her.
In bed with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) came clean about his engagement to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and how he broke it off after finding out the horrible things she did to Sarah.
Xander felt that the important thing was being back together with Sarah and moving forward, so she was on the same page. However, another shocker came when Chanel bumped into Sarah and Xander as they were leaving the Salem Inn.
Chanel saw that Xander had won Sarah back and introduced herself as his ex-wife. Sarah’s reaction made Chanel realize Xander hadn’t confessed yet, so that led to some awkwardness.
