Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 29, reveals that Sarah Horton aka “Renee DuMonde” (Linsey Godfrey) pushed Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) for a passionate bedroom reunion while Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) asked Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to marry him. Here’s how all the DOOL drama went down.
In the town square on Tuesday’s Days episode, Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) realized that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was reluctant to help Sarah get better.
Although Xander assured Gwen of his love for her, Gwen didn’t think their love story could compete with the one he had with Sarah.
Gwen wondered what would happen once Sarah got better – whether Xander would want to marry her or Sarah.
Xander couldn’t give Gwen a firm answer on that, but he knew he had to keep trying to help Sarah recover.
At the Salem Inn, Craig demanded answers after finding Leo in bed with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).
Leo encouraged Craig to check his text messages, so Craig saw that Leo had summoned him to come back to the room for a surprise.
Leo suggested having a threesome and worked to convince Craig it’d be good for their relationship.
Chad eventually decided to call off the scheme and admitted he was trying to help out some friends.
Leo called out Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) for playing her part earlier and knew this was all a setup.
After Chad left on Tuesday’s Days episode, Leo stopped Craig from calling Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) while he was so riled up.
Although Craig believed in Leo’s love and loyalty, Leo wished for a way to prove himself to Chloe and everyone else.
Craig decided there was indeed a way and happily asked Leo to marry him.
Back with Chad, he crossed paths with Xander and Gwen in the town square.
When Xander found out Chad was going to talk to Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) about the antidote, he hoped Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) son could get through to him.
Gwen decided that if Chad couldn’t get Dr. Rolf on board, then she’d try her luck as a favor to Xander. That left Xander grateful as he pulled Gwen into a hug.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) showed up right as Tony reassured Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) about his wife being on board with this living arrangement.
Anna wasn’t on board at all and ultimately got into another fight with “Renee DuMonde” aka Sarah, who maintained that Tony was with her now.
Sarah gushed about how they were going to reunite in every way imaginable tonight, so Anna hit the roof.
However, Tony tried to calm Anna down once they were alone.
Tony made it clear that he had no plans to sleep with Sarah and sent Anna back to the DiMera mansion.
Once Sarah came back from the garden, Tony insisted on separate rooms and said Anna would use the betrayal against him.
Tony acted like Anna would take him to the cleaners in the divorce, but “Renee” wasn’t worried about the money due to her inheritance.
Tony switched tactics and argued that Anna would drag out the divorce over the infidelity, so Sarah went along with the separate rooms for now.
Although Anna was still angry when she returned to the DiMera manse, she smiled over Tony’s romantic text and filled in Abigail.
At the townhouse, Chloe and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) waited for updates on Chad’s scheme, which led to some alone time and a make-out session.
Chloe worried about John Black (Drake Hogestyn) or Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) catching them on the sofa, so Brady suggested taking this to his bedroom.
Since Chloe was enthusiastic over the idea, she joined Brady in his room for lovemaking.
Afterward, Chloe got a text about Chad’s botched plan and grumbled over Leo figuring out it was a trap.
