Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 3, reveals that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) revealed where Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) antidote was stashed while Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) “secret life” was exposed. Here’s how all the DOOL action played out.
At the DiMera mansion, Chad and Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) were still celebrating Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) downfall when Leo barged in.
Leo chewed Sonny and Chad out since he really loved Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) before delivering some threats about how they would pay.
Chad grew concerned since he knew what Leo was capable of – and soon after, Sonny noticed a news alert.
Sonny showed Chad an article in The Intruder, which was all about Chad’s “secret life” and contained a picture of him dressed as a drag queen.
In Craig’s hotel room, he changed his status to single online and looked distraught.
When Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) arrived, Craig assumed she was there to rub in the fact that she was right about Leo.
However, Nancy just wanted to support Craig since her best friend was hurting.
Nancy mentioned her own date blowing her off and smiled over being quite the pair with Craig.
Since Nancy knew how hard Craig fell for Leo, she considered the possibility that maybe Leo was telling the truth – that he really did fall in love with Craig despite his scheme.
After Leo showed up, Nancy took off and let him speak with Craig alone.
Craig demanded to know what Leo wanted, so there was tension as Leo prepared to plead for another chance.
Next on Tuesday’s Days episode, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) got updates on how Sarah was settling into the new clinic and learned there’d been no change in her condition.
Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) figured Xander would be married and starting his honeymoon by now, so Xander explained why the wedding didn’t happen.
Although Maggie was upset over Gwen’s actions, she quickly turned her attention to what this might mean for Sarah.
Since Sarah hadn’t been given the real antidote yet, Maggie was hopeful that it might work.
Xander was way ahead of Maggie since he’d already talked to Chad about getting another antidote dose from Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay).
Unfortunately, Dr. Rolf got in trouble for some chemical experiment gone wrong and had been thrown in solitary confinement.
Xander ultimately realized there might be another way to get the antidote for Sarah, so he headed for the police station.
In the meantime, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) visited Gwen in the interrogation room at Jennifer Deveraux’s (Melissa Reeves) urging.
Although Jack had previously said he was done with Gwen, he realized he couldn’t be done with his daughter.
That said, Jack couldn’t understand why Gwen had blown so many opportunities. Gwen compared herself to her drug addict mother and tried to explain where her head was at.
After Jack brought up the lengthy prison stint Gwen could be facing, she muttered something about murder and left Jack concerned.
Gwen covered and was surprised when Xander arrived to speak with her.
Xander admitted this was about the antidote and wondered what it would take for Gwen to hand it over.
Gwen was saddened over Xander thinking she’d never give it up unless something was in it for her. She wanted Xander back, but she knew he hated her now.
Since Gwen would always love Xander, she ultimately told him where to find the antidote dose she’d saved.
Xander retrieved it from their hotel suite and showed it to Maggie, so they were hopeful that this could be what they needed to save Sarah.
Over with Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) on Tuesday’s Days episode, she made a confession to Jennifer.
Abigail revealed that Gwen whispered in her ear about killing Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) on purpose.
Jennifer and Abigail struggled to figure out if Gwen was lying before or lying now, so they dashed off to confront her at the Salem PD.
Gwen told Jack that she was truly sorry about Sarah, but Jennifer appeared with Abigail and asked if she was sorry about murdering her mother!
