Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, May 31, tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will catch Belle Brady (Martha Madison) kissing EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) while Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) makes a graveside confession. Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will also have a baby question to ask, so let’s talk about what’s ahead.
Before we dive in, we should mention that DOOL will be preempted for televised tennis on Monday, May 30.
The show will pick up right where they left off on Tuesday, May 31, so you won’t miss a minute of the action.
At the DiMera mansion, Chad will interrupt Belle and EJ’s make-out session.
Days spoilers say that’ll bring some embarrassment from Belle, who’ll consider this a moment of weakness.
EJ will be apologetic for crossing the line and will hope they can count on Chad’s silence.
Chad may assure Belle and EJ that he’s not going to spill anything, but he’ll also want to offer a warning before this goes any further.
Since Chad has plenty of experience with betrayal and regret, he’ll want Belle to think long and hard before she throws away her marriage.
Belle will indeed realize she has to fight for Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and their life together, but that plan won’t last long.
It turns out there’ll be some special delivery later – something that lets Belle know Shawn has once again let himself get manipulated by Jan Spears (Heather Lindell).
Belle will eventually decide a legal separation is the way to go instead, so her emotions will be all over the place.
In the meantime, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will get a blood test at the hospital along with an examination.
Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will ask questions and try to nail down exactly what happened, so Sonny and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will point the finger at Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
Will caught a flight back to Salem after getting a news alert with those wild photos, but he trusts Sonny and will believe this is all Leo’s manipulation.
Days spoilers say Leo will push Sonny to file a police report and try to make Leo pay for what he’s done, but Sonny may have another plan in mind.
Back with Chad, he’ll meet up with Abigail and reflect on their beautiful family.
Abigail will end up asking Chad if he’d like to expand that family with a third child, so that’ll give them both a lot to think about.
Although another baby would be a handful, Abigail may like the idea of adding one in some ways.
Chad will have to consider the pros and cons as well since this is a huge decision.
Of course, we know Abigail will be killed off this summer, so any dreams for the future will sadly be snuffed out.
Chad and Abigail will enjoy some sweet scenes of connection for now, but grief looms for Chad down the road.
Speaking of grief, Xander will take Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton’s grave and admit he was wrong to delay the inevitable.
Instead of trying to spare Sarah pain, Xander will realize he should’ve been helping Sarah heal and get closure.
When Sarah sees that flowers have been placed at the headstone for “Mickey,” Xander will confess he’s been putting them there all along.
The fact that Xander cared enough to do that – even when he thought he had no chance with Sarah – will truly touch her heart.
Xander and Sarah will face a real turning point in their relationship as memories flood back, so we’ll bring you updates as other Days details roll in.
