Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 31, teases that Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will get some blood test results while Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) has a cemetery breakthrough. Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will also shock Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
When Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) got updates on Sonny being drugged by Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), he pushed Sonny to head to the hospital for a drug test.
Days spoilers say it’ll be Sonny’s best shot at proving Leo committed a crime.
Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) agreed to squeeze Sonny in, so she’ll examine him and make sure there are no significant drug side effects.
Sonny will indeed get a blood test, so the results should hopefully confirm that he was drugged.
Of course, Days fans know Leo is a slippery character, so Sonny may doubt that he’ll really be able to make charges stick here.
Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will believe Sonny’s story about being drugged and set up, so he’ll want justice for his husband.
There’ll be a debate over Sonny’s next move since Will will want him to file a police report, but Sonny may consider another strategy.
At the DiMera mansion, Chad will make his presence known after witnessing a kiss between EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison).
Although Chad may acknowledge that it’s really none of his business, he’ll feel the need to give some advice.
After all, EJ is Chad’s brother – and Belle is someone Chad considers a friend.
Chad will feel like EJ should back off and let Belle work things out with Shawn.
It’s clear that there’s still a lot of love left for “Shelle,” so Chad will encourage Belle to salvage her marriage if possible.
Belle will feel like she just got swept up in the moment and will be embarrassed over Chad spotting them.
Since Chad will likely insist the secret’s safe with him, that should be a relief to Belle.
EJ will apologize to Belle for taking things too far, but Belle may blame herself for the brief lapse in judgment.
Although Belle will recommit to repairing her damaged relationship with Shawn, she’ll do an about-face after a package shows up.
That package will tie in with more of Jan Spears’ (Heather Lindell) manipulation and will prove Shawn is letting his “baby mama” pull the wool over his eyes.
Other Days spoilers say Abigail will drop hints about adding another baby to her family with Chad, who’ll question where this is coming from.
Chad will ultimately get the feeling that Abigail is already pregnant, so he’ll flat-out ask her and wonder if he’s going to be a father again.
Abigail may indeed be expecting a bundle of joy or it could be a false alarm.
Regardless, Abigail will get some bloodwork done at the hospital and may grow excited about this idea of having a third kid with Chad.
The good news is some heartfelt “Chabby” scenes are on the way.
The bad news is they’ll set the stage for some heartbreaking ones as Abigail faces a grim fate this summer.
In the cemetery, Sarah will cry over Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton’s grave and listen to Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) explanation.
Xander will finally see that he went too far in protecting Sarah and should’ve taken the more mature approach of comforting her through the crisis.
After Xander offers another baby switch apology, Sarah will pick up on the flowers at the headstone and realize he’s been visiting “Mickey” regularly.
Despite thinking Sarah might never come back to him, Xander still wanted to honor “Mickey’s” memory.
That’ll prove Xander’s love to Sarah and trigger a memory flood that changes everything.
Sarah will remember forgiving Xander, so that’ll make it easier to do it one more time.
Soon after, Sarah and Xander will let their passion erupt in his hotel suite.
It’ll be a special bedroom reunion since it’s been so long since Xander and Sarah have connected like this.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah and Xander’s relationship will get back on track, but their world will be turned upside down by some new challenges down the road.
