Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, October 18, tease that Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will die and visit heaven while Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) surprises Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will also make a desperate plea to Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), so here’s what DOOL viewers can expect.
For starters, Marlena will respond well to the injection, so Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) will quickly prepare a dose for Kayla next.
Days spoilers say Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine) will spend some time comforting each other before they support Kayla at her bedside.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will also be there to await Kayla’s fate, but her health will take a sudden nosedive.
Once Kayla is injected with the serum, she’ll call out to her deceased mother and ultimately flatline.
Days fans will see some heavenly scenes where Kayla visits the afterlife, but she’ll be revived and sent back to her family.
Kayla will soon be on the road to recovery like Marlena, so Rex will want to give Kate her own injection before it’s too late.
In Kate’s room above the pub, Chad will show up and see that she’s in bad shape. Kate will be near death at that point, so Chad will beg her to stay with him.
After losing Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), Chad certainly doesn’t want to lose Kate, too.
Since Kate has been a mother figure to Chad, he’ll plead with her to stick around and hope for the best.
Fortunately, Rex will make sure Kate receives the serum just in time, so Orpheus (George DelHoyo) will have to find another path to revenge – and he’ll indeed have a few more tricks up his sleeve soon.
Meanwhile, Kristen will push Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) to keep his end of the bargain.
After witnessing a kiss between Brady and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), Kristen will urge Brady to dump his current girlfriend just like he promised.
Brady will sit down with Chloe and talk about wanting to put Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) first, but Chloe still won’t understand when he breaks up with her.
Brady was so against the idea earlier, so Chloe will struggle to make sense of his actions.
Of course, Brady can’t tell Chloe the truth due to his deal with Kristen, so that’ll make this task even more heartbreaking.
Chloe won’t know that Brady has made a great sacrifice for the sake of Marlena and the others.
Speaking of Marlena, she’ll grow suspicious when Kristen visits her hospital room again and makes cryptic comments.
Marlena will no doubt assume Kristen is up to something, but she won’t be sure what it is – at least not yet!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will keep Brady on a tight leash for a while, so stay tuned for more DOOL drama.
