Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 4, reveals that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) exploded over Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) blunder while Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) ruined Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) $1 million grab, so let’s talk about all the DOOL drama.
In the cemetery, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) paid their respects to Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) before Mike Horton (Roark Critchlow) appeared.
After Julie hugged Mike, he revealed that Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) asked for his help getting into a rehab program.
Mike returned to Salem because he wanted to be there for his sister ahead of the transition.
At the Horton house, Leo demanded $1 million to keep quiet about Jennifer mowing down Gwen, but he ultimately admitted Gwen didn’t know he was there.
Jack claimed he needed to visit the bank, but he opted to head for Gwen’s hospital room instead.
Next on Tuesday’s Days episode, Gwen asked if Jennifer was there to finish her off, but Jennifer insisted she didn’t want to hurt Gwen and only wanted to say she was so very sorry.
Gwen found it difficult to believe Jennifer just now remembered running over her, but Jennifer promised it wasn’t deliberate and that she wasn’t in her right mind since she was high.
After Jennifer decided she would turn herself into the police, Gwen stopped her from doing it.
Once Gwen suggested she’d rather see Jennifer get clean and do what her own mother couldn’t do, she admitted she cared about Jenn.
Gwen could see how much Jennifer had suffered and didn’t want Jack to go through the pain of losing Jenn to prison after losing Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).
Once Jack showed up, he learned Gwen was going to tell the cops that she had no idea who hit her.
That left Jack touched, but he also seemed worried Leo would be a problem.
Gwen warned Jack not to give Leo a penny since his story wouldn’t hold up without her as a witness.
Back at the Horton house, Julie flipped out over Leo hanging around on the sofa watching cartoons and eating the doughnuts she made for Doug.
When Jack returned, he revealed that he worked it all out with Gwen and made it clear Leo wouldn’t be getting any money.
Jack threw Leo out on Tuesday’s Days episode, so Leo looked disappointed as he left.
At Julie’s Place, Stephanie was impressed with Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) work after he handed over a revised announcement.
Suddenly, Paulina showed up and ripped into Stephanie for slacking off on the PR for her campaign.
Chad rushed to Stephanie’s defense since Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) was in the hospital, so Paulina calmed down and was truly sorry about Stephanie’s mom.
That said, Paulina was also concerned since Stephanie wasn’t delegating, but she got reassurance that it would all be sorted out by the end of the day.
Paulina mistakenly assumed Chad was Stephanie’s assistant before she got an official introduction.
After Paulina suggested Chad could work on her election committee, Stephanie downplayed the idea.
Once Paulina left, Stephanie apologized for the assistant confusion, but Chad thought it’d be a nice distraction if he joined Stephanie’s team.
Since Stephanie could use the help, Chad convinced her to hire him before they shook on it.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) showed up with flowers for Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) and admitted that Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) told him where to find her.
Bonnie thought that Nancy could use another friend to talk to besides her.
As Nancy and Craig shared a nice moment, they pondered the idea of reuniting as a platonic couple.
However, Craig and Nancy ultimately decided they wanted each other to find true romantic happiness, so they parted ways as friends and vowed to keep in touch.
While Leo was facing Gwen’s fury over the phone, he bumped into Craig outside the pub. Meanwhile, Nancy was surprised to run into Mike in the town square.
