Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 13, reveals that Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) got a clue about Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) partner in crime. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) also had an unexpected reunion, so let’s talk about all the action in Wednesday’s DOOL show.
At the pub, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) urged Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) to stall the divorce to prevent Craig Wesley’s (Kevin Spirtas) new marriage.
That way, Brady and Chloe would have more time to get dirt on Leo.
Nancy wasn’t sure there was any dirt that could convince Craig that Leo wasn’t trustworthy.
Besides, Nancy already struck a deal to save Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) job with this divorce, so she wasn’t going to put that in jeopardy.
At the bistro, Leo gleefully spoke with someone over the phone about Craig proposing and how “that bitch” wouldn’t stand in the way.
Craig showed up and objected to Leo calling Nancy names, but Leo admitted he was actually referring to Chloe since she’d been so problematic.
However, Craig knew Chloe was overwhelmed by how everything went down.
After Craig left, Chloe and Brady interrupted another one of Leo’s phone conversations.
Leo disconnected and offered to buy a round of drinks as an olive branch, but Brady and Chloe weren’t happy when he paid with Craig’s card.
As for Craig, he signed the divorce papers in some tense Days scenes with Nancy.
Just before Nancy left the pub, Craig called her back and wondered if they could have one last drink for old times’ sake.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) tried to help Sonny work through the pros and cons of reclaiming the Titan CEO spot.
Sonny remained uncertain about the job, but he appreciated Chad’s support anyway.
When Brady arrived and mentioned Leo gloating over the phone to someone named Jackie, that got Sonny’s wheels turning.
Sonny remembered Jackie Cox being Leo’s partner in crime during all the Peacock caper chaos, so Days spoilers say this could lead to a potential takedown strategy.
At the DiMera mansion, Gwen surprised Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) with the news that the wedding was moving forward – and with her matron of honor request.
Abigail balked initially since they’d done so much feuding, even recently when Abigail accused Gwen of being Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) accomplice.
However, Gwen made a speech about how all she ever really wanted was a family and urged Abigail to at least do this for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).
Abigail finally decided she might as well and asked herself what’s the worst that could happen.
That left Gwen overjoyed, so she gave Abigail a big hug – just in time for Chad to walk in and wonder what the heck was going on.
After Gwen left, Chad got updates from Abigail.
Chad felt Gwen had pressured Abigail into the matron of honor role and urged her to get out of it, but Abigail stuck to the agreement.
In Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) hotel room, he got a visit from Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers).
Maggie was bummed that Xander wouldn’t be her son-in-law and knew Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) truly loved him, but she understood once Xander explained why he was moving on with Gwen.
Sarah’s prognosis wasn’t as good as Abigail’s had been, but Maggie revealed that she was taking her daughter to the same Florida clinic in hopes that they could help.
Xander embraced Maggie before meeting back up with Gwen, who was excited over all their wedding plans – including Abigail getting on board as her matron of honor.
Gwen eventually ended up in the town square, where she ran into Leo in a moment of mutual recognition.
A stunned Leo greeted Gwen, who called him “Matty Cooper” and was equally stunned to see him. Gwen and Leo asked each other what they were doing in Salem.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Leo and Gwen will gear up for a double wedding soon, so stick with DOOL!
