Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, April 13, teases that Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) wedding wish will shock Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller). Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will also offer a peace offering – and Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) will make a decision about her future.
After Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) delivers some difficult Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) updates, Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will feel even more confident in his choice.
Xander doesn’t see any hope for living happily ever after with Sarah, so he’s prepared to let go and tie the knot with Gwen.
Days spoilers say Xander will call Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) to make sure Jack’s still willing to be his best man.
Jack will confirm that he is, but he’ll worry about Gwen being Xander’s runner-up.
Even Gwen herself knows she’s second place in Xander’s heart, but she doesn’t really care. Gwen got the groom prize – and that’s good enough for her!
As for Xander, he’ll assure Jack that he intends to treat Gwen right and build a happy marriage with her.
Xander will still be sad over losing Sarah, but he’ll try to focus on the new kind of bliss he’s found with Gwen.
Since Xander will be covered in the best man department, that just leaves Gwen’s maid of honor.
Gwen has been unsure about who to ask, but it looks like she’ll make a surprising choice on Wednesday’s DOOL episode.
Days spoilers say Gwen will ask for a favor that catches Abigail off guard.
Abigail and Gwen have faced off plenty of times since Gwen came to Salem, but this is an opportunity for a truce.
By accepting the matron of honor spot, Abigail may acknowledge that she’s willing to meet Gwen halfway.
Of course, everything’s going to change once more of Gwen’s dirty secrets start coming to light – and that’s set to happen during the week of April 18-22 according to Days spoilers.
Until then, let’s get back to Sarah and her childlike condition.
Maggie will feel like the clinic in Florida – presumably the same one Abigail went to – is the best place for Sarah right now.
Naturally, things might turn around for Sarah if she were given the real antidote, not more of the mind-altering drug.
Once Gwen’s switcheroo is ultimately exposed, that could be a game-changer when it comes to helping Sarah.
Meanwhile, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will need Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) guidance.
Chad will find out about Sonny’s CEO offer at Titan, so he’ll help his buddy decide whether to accept it.
However, only Sonny can make the final call – though he’ll definitely want Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) to be in agreement.
As for Nancy, she’ll shut down Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) when they seek assistance.
Brady and Chloe will want to block Craig Wesley’s (Kevin Spirtas) marriage to Leo, but Nancy will refuse to drag her feet on the divorce.
Nancy will want to get things finalized as soon as possible and just let everyone do what they want to do.
Nancy’s over all the drama and wants the chance to head down a new romantic road of her own.
Leo will hope to find some common ground with Brady and Chloe, but they’ll still battle some trust issues.
Although Leo will claim he only wants true happiness with Craig, it’s just hard to believe Leo doesn’t have a trick or two up his sleeve!
