Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, April 20 Recap – Leo Already Married, Conning Craig – Drag Queen Drama

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 20, reveals that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) was already married and had been conning Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) from the start. Drag queen drama erupted at the ceremony, so let’s talk about all the DOOL action.

At the Horton house on Wednesday’s Days episode, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) told Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) that she was still waiting to hear back from DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) about Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) immunity deal.

In the meantime, Abigail didn’t want to do anything that might tip Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) off to what she was planning.

Gwen entered, but she didn’t catch on when it came to Abigail’s takedown efforts.

In fact, Gwen was full of gratitude as Abigail helped her get ready for her big day. Abigail assured Gwen that they were both right where they needed to be.

Abigail also mentioned Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) last-minute trip – though she assured Gwen it had nothing to do with her.

Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) took a call from Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), who offered well wishes and revealed there was no change in Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) condition.

Jack also enjoyed some bonding time with Xander as the wedding drew near.

Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) told Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) that her date went well, but she was determined to stand on her own at Craig’s nuptials.

Craig seemed moved that Nancy actually came and was thrilled to be marrying Leo.

After Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) cornered Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), he urged him to stretch out the ceremony and give Chad a chance to get back with dirt on Leo.

Once Jack walked Gwen down the aisle, Leo made his own flashy display wearing a wild outfit. He posed for tons of photos before joining Craig at the altar.

Justin tried to get Xander and Gwen to go first, but they insisted Leo and Craig should take the lead.

Nancy interrupted at one point, but it was just to wish Craig all the happiness in the world and mention her upcoming hot date!

Justin did his best to drag things out for as long as possible, but Leo grew impatient.

In the end, Justin moved forward with the vows and was about to pronounce them husbands for life when Chad appeared.

Leo didn’t think there was anything that would stand in the way of his marriage to Craig, but Chad revealed that Leo was already married.

After Chad introduced Jackie Cox as a renowned drag queen, he let Leo’s partner in crime take the lead on blowing up the ceremony.

Jackie ultimately changed out of drag and transformed into Darius Rose Cooper.

There was a marriage certificate as proof that Darius married Matthew Cooper, so Leo was forced to admit he helped Canadian Darius get his green card and stay in the country.

However, Leo insisted it wasn’t a real marriage – and Darius confirmed that after some hookups, they had settled into a platonic relationship.

Leo argued that he got swept up in the romance of it all after Craig proposed.

Leo claimed he wanted to tell Craig about his other marriage, but it all happened so fast.

Craig didn’t like being lied to, but he was willing to get past all this since Leo was helping a friend.

That left Brady and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) furious since Craig was still under Leo’s spell.

Chad pushed Darius to confess the rest of the story, so the truth about the con job came out.

Darius insisted this marriage was a “flimflam” since Leo didn’t actually love Craig.

Leo was only interested in Craig’s money, so he schemed to marry him at some point and take him to the cleaners in the divorce.

Craig had been viewed as an easy mark since he was older and closeted in the beginning.

Since Leo stabbed his partner in crime in the back by signing the prenup, Darius was willing to expose him.

Leo tried to tell Craig that he actually fell in love with him along the way, but Craig wasn’t buying it and took off.

Later, Chloe approached Craig in his hotel suite.

Craig assumed this is what Chloe wanted, but then he cried in his daughter’s arms over the scam and his lost love.

Despite all the mayhem on Wednesday’s Days episode, Gwen saw no reason why her wedding to Xander shouldn’t proceed.

Abigail got off the phone and revealed there was indeed a reason, so she left Gwen stunned.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail’s about to wreck Gwen’s wedding and entire life, so stay tuned to DOOL!
