Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 6, reveals that Belle Brady (Martha Madison) sobbed after walking out on Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) – and Clyde Weston (James Read) seemed to have a dangerous Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) obsession. Let’s talk about how all the Days action played out.
At home on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Belle hoped Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) just slept with a guard or something.
Belle pushed Shawn to confirm he never slept with Jan, but he confessed that they indeed got passionate before Belle came in that night.
Belle flew into a rage, but Shawn pointed out that he’d been violated and insisted this wasn’t his fault.
Shawn had no idea that Jan had been transformed to look just like Belle.
Although Belle didn’t blame Shawn for that part, she was overwhelmed at the thought of him having a baby with Jan.
Shawn vowed to go talk to Jan and push for a paternity test in the morning.
Belle’s real issue was that Shawn lied to her for months, so she packed a bag and refused to stay at the house with him.
Once Belle made it to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) place, she sobbed on the sofa – and Shawn looked glum while he gazed at a “Shelle” photo back at home.
At Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) apartment, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) demanded to know what Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) was doing in his bed.
Ava pretended she was a couple with Jake now and called him “baby” as part of the charade.
Jake could see that Gabi was growing increasingly outraged, so he finally admitted that nothing happened and prevented a catfight.
Although Gabi wanted Jake back, he still felt betrayed and refused to reunite.
Before Gabi would leave, she wanted Ava to confess to framing Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).
Ava once again denied setting Rafe up, but Gabi said this wasn’t over and stormed out.
Jake seemed miffed at Ava for provoking Gabi and suggested they should just go to sleep.
As for Gabi, she sulked in the town square after a happy couple strolled by.
At Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) apartment, the kids were asleep when Rafe showed up.
Nicole admitted Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) was staying with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and surprised him with updates on their couple status.
Nicole and Rafe had a wonderfully domestic dinner as they talked about work drama and just enjoyed each other’s company.
Later, Nicole admitted she’d fought her feelings for Rafe initially because she was afraid of losing their friendship, but Rafe offered reassurance about that never happening.
While Nicole and Rafe headed to the bedroom to make love, Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) found Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) working out at home.
Ben brought Ciara up to speed on Clyde’s job working for Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) at the pub, so Ciara had concerns about him being caught up in her family’s business.
Ciara mentioned Clyde’s previous involvement with Kate and how she wanted nothing to do with him now.
Ben hinted about Clyde perhaps considering Kate a challenge, but he reassured Ciara about the situation overall and urged her to shower with him.
Ciara was tempted, but she opted to heat up some short ribs instead and mentioned talking to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) about their upcoming gender reveal party.
Ben remained in a frisky mood and later dropped his towel in front of a pleased Ciara.
At the pub on Wednesday’s Days episode, Kate pushed Roman to fire Clyde, but he wanted to keep Clyde on as a short-order cook.
They bickered until Clyde appeared after finishing his work.
Clyde defended himself as a man who’d learned the error of his ways and thought maybe he could start something back up with Kate eventually.
That left Kate wondering if Roman approved of Clyde flirting with her right in front of him.
Roman admitted he didn’t and put Clyde in his place, so Clyde stammered about not realizing they were together and ultimately took off.
Roman then distracted Kate with a slow dance while Clyde spied through the window outside.
Is Clyde fixated on Kate – and will he indeed view her as a challenge like Ben suggested?
Days fans will have to wait and see, but it could lead to bad news if Clyde’s obsessed with his former flame!
