Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, August 10, tease that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Ava DiMera (Tamara Braun) will have an unexpected encounter while Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) tricks the warden. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will also receive a job offer, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Chad will battle a hangover after his recent bender. Fortunately, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will come through with a special cure to drink – and he’ll offer a job to give Chad a sense of purpose, too.
Unfortunately, there’ll be a snag that Sonny didn’t count on. Since Alexander “Alex” Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will get into an argument with his brother, maybe he’ll object to Sonny’s proposition.
After all, Chad is kind of a mess right now, so it’s probably not a good idea to put him in charge of anything related to Titan! Alex is secretly serving as Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) fixer, so he’ll try to prevent a crisis before it starts and plan to report back to his real boss.
At some point, Alex will stop by Sweet Bits and exchange introductions with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). Days spoilers say Alex will immediately start flirting, but jealous Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will come along and make it crystal clear that Chanel is taken.
Allie may plant a kiss and proudly declare that Chanel is her girlfriend, but Alex will remain intrigued by both women. That’s going to lead to some surprising situations as this Days storyline moves along.
Speaking of surprising situations, Ava and Johnny are about to land in one. Now that Ava is living at the DiMera mansion, it’ll be easy for her to cross paths with Johnny and share a close moment with him.
Ava and Johnny may face some flying sparks since they’re about to get busted in a compromising position.
It turns out Xander and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will deal with a similar problem, but let’s set the stage first. At Statesville, Xander will dress as a priest and go undercover as Father Callum O’Brien.
That’ll give Xander a chance to dupe the warden and gain access to information about Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) stint in the slammer. Sarah will help Xander look through the info, so that’ll bring a big discovery and perhaps a celebratory kiss.
Once the warden witnesses “Father O’Brien” looking rather intimate with Sarah, that could make her question whether he’s really who he claims to be! However, Xander might act like temptation simply overtook him and hightail it out of there.
As for this Gwen discovery, Xander and Sarah will realize Ava helped her escape. From there, Sarah and Xander will just need to figure out how to make Ava betray Gwen.
That could prove to be a tough task, but Xander and Sarah will put a new plan in motion soon. We’ll deliver updates as other Days news rolls in.
