Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, February 23, teases that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will have an emergency while Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) stops Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) from trying to leave the island.
In Salem, DOOL fans can expect TR Coates (William Christian) to have a busy day.
It looks like TR will pay Paulina another visit and rattle her all over again. That’ll leave Paulina desperate to keep Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) safe, so she’ll feel like this is an emergency that calls for backup.
Days spoilers say Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will get updates on Paulina’s abusive ex showing up in town.
Paulina will insist they have to protect Lani, so Abe may agree if that’s genuinely what Lani wants.
Part of Abe may worry about holding Lani back from a relationship with TR, but that’s certainly not something Lani wants right now.
Lani made it crystal clear that Abe was the only dad she needed, but she’ll open her heart to TR a little down the road.
Until then, Lani will remain an emotional wreck as she fills in Eli Grant (Lamon Archey).
Eli will be back from his trip to Washington, so he’ll hear all about TR’s unexpected arrival and the news that he’s Lani’s biological father.
Since Lani doesn’t want her bio dad in the picture right now, Eli will track TR down to deliver a warning.
Eli will refuse to tolerate someone bothering the people closest to him, so his visit to TR’s hotel room will definitely be a tense one.
Eli may threaten to lock TR up if he dares to cross the line. He’ll let TR know he’s not messing around and would probably resort to vigilante justice if he had to.
Just because Eli is a man of the law doesn’t mean he can’t be pushed over the edge!
At the DiMera mansion, Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) will try to charm TR during a movie pitch meeting.
It looks like Anna will be brimming with new ideas for a fun film that’s all about her.
Anna may suggest she could play herself and entertain the masses with stories about her wild life.
Of course, Anna may mention a story or two about her old rival, Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler).
That could tie in with some of the shocking stories that Sarah will tell Steve and Kayla on the island.
Sarah will talk like she actually lived as Renee, who’s been dead for many years.
Kayla and Steve will struggle to make sense of all this, but they’ll soon turn their attention to escaping and resolve to figure out the rest later.
In Sarah’s bedroom, Kristen will elaborate on why Sarah put Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) behind her.
Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will be floored when Kristen hands over Renee’s journal and admits this played a huge role in Sarah’s transformation.
Sarah was so enthralled by Renee’s tales that she embraced them as her own memories.
Sarah can’t remember who she is anymore, so it’s obvious she needs mental help.
Nevertheless, the first order of business is getting off that island.
Days spoilers say Steve and Kayla will lead Sarah away, but they’ll end up running into Kristen and facing her weapon.
Kayla and Steve will hold their flare guns on Kristen, but those will be no match for the real thing.
Kristen will fight to regain the upper hand and hope she can figure out a new plan for the hostage crisis that’s spiraling out of control.
Back in Salem, Marlena Hall (Deidre Hall) will spot John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) Valentine’s Day presents and find them awfully sweet.
Marlena will thank John before getting back to work, so look for Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) to rush in looking for Marlena’s guidance.
Nancy was both crushed and furious over Craig’s decision to cheat on her.
Craig also admitted he’s gay and has been lying to himself for years, so Nancy understandably feels lied to as well.
Nancy will want to talk to Marlena about Craig’s new man and the end of her marriage, so Marlena will make time for her soon.
