Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, January 26, tease that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will realize she can’t escape her monster ex while Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) gets some bad movie news. Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will also make a bold move – though it’ll apparently just happen in the dream world for the time being. Here’s what Days fans can look forward to.
Now that Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) is battling a broken heart, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will offer some sympathy.
There’ll be some sweet scenes as Chanel thanks Abe for the support and perhaps tries to give him a little push toward reconciliation with Paulina.
Meanwhile, Tripp and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will canoodle in bed together.
It looks like Tripp will pull out a jewelry box, so he may pop the question – perhaps as part of Tripp’s fantasy or even Allie’s guilty dream.
Regardless, Tripp won’t be proposing for real just yet. That plan isn’t something that’ll play out until later, but it should be an idea Tripp has in the back of his mind.
Tripp believes Allie is completely devoted to him, so he’ll want to make a lifelong commitment to her soon.
Of course, Tripp doesn’t know Allie cheated on him with Chanel.
That’s why things will be rather awkward when Tripp reaches out to Chanel and consoles her over Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) divorce decision.
As for Johnny, DOOL spoilers say he’ll get a visit from the formidable TR Coates (William Christian).
This film producer will insist a deal’s a deal – and that means he’ll expect Johnny to deliver the possession movie he signed on the dotted line to offer.
Since Johnny is possessed and capable of anything right now, he’ll sneak up behind TR with a fencing saber.
Johnny will be tempted to slice TR’s throat open and kill him on the spot, but he’ll eventually decide against it.
The devil doesn’t want to get caught just yet – and people would ask way too many questions over a dead body in the DiMera mansion living room!
TR will stay alive to have another shocking encounter in the town square, which is sure to bring plenty of drama.
It turns out TR is “Ray,” the vicious ex that Paulina once ran away from.
After Marlena apologizes to Paulina for everything she did while under the devil’s control, a stunned Paulina will cross paths with TR – who also happens to be Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) biological father.
As for Marlena, she may get updates on Johnny’s tight spot involving the possession movie. Perhaps Johnny will use TR’s demand as a way to green light the possession flick once again.
Over with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), she’ll talk to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) about Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) showing up to reassure Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo).
Chloe may be glad her parents’ marriage crisis is over, but that won’t actually be the case.
In bed, Craig will say and do all the right things. He’ll perform as best as he can and dote on Nancy once they’re done, but it’ll become clear that Craig isn’t being his true self.
Days will let viewers hear Craig’s thoughts as he stares at the ceiling and wonders what he’s doing.
Although Craig will promise Nancy got the wrong idea, that isn’t exactly the case. Craig is still a cheater, even though it wasn’t with another woman.
It’s a man who Craig has been sneaking around with – and the next sign of trouble will come thanks to Chloe eavesdropping on her dad’s phone call with his secret lover.
Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest Craig will tell Chloe that he’s gay before the week’s over, so stay tuned to DOOL.
