Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, January 5, tease that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will want Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) back while Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) confesses to Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will also blast Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and what she feels is a vindictive agenda, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on DOOL.
For starters, EJ will seek out Nicole and deliver a heartfelt apology.
Now that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) has dumped him, EJ will try to act like Nicole’s the one he should’ve had faith in. He’ll probably suggest he just got caught up in Sami’s usual spell and paid the price for it.
EJ will hope to get their romance back on track, but Nicole won’t love the idea of being the back-up love interest.
Nicole will have a rather frigid response when EJ tries to patch things up, but EJ will no doubt turn on the charm and lay it on thick in his apology efforts.
EJ may promise Sami’s out of his system now as he begs Nicole for a reunion. That might be something Nicole has to mull over, but EJ will at least try to make some progress.
In the meantime, Kate will have a hunch that Chad’s hiding something.
Kate will feel like Chad might’ve had a hand in getting EJ off his half of the DiMera throne – and Days fans know that’s true. Although Chad may not spill much at first, Kate will end up prying the truth out of him.
Chad may trust that Kate won’t say anything since this involves Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) as well.
After Chad explains how he helped set EJ up, he’ll be surprised by Kate’s support.
Kate will feel like Chad did what he had to do and may act like DiMera Enterprises will benefit from having Chad as sole CEO.
Days spoilers say Chad will deal with some guilt down the road, but Kate will be there to whisper in his ear and try to keep him on the wrong track.
Kate will bring out Chad’s worst qualities and steer him down a devious DiMera path for as long as she can!
In the meantime, Gwen’s fury will explode over Abigail taking on the case of Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) disappearance.
Gwen will think this is personal and will accuse Abigail of investigating the case just to hurt her.
Gwen will act like Abigail can’t let her be happy with Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), but Abigail will argue this has nothing to do with Xander.
This is about finding a missing person and easing Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) concerns about her daughter.
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will push for peace as Gwen and Abigail’s argument revs up.
In the end, Gwen will settle down – though she’ll definitely become more fearful about a Sarah and Xander reunion happening.
Over with Xander, he’ll meet up with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) to ask about his last interaction with Sarah.
This discussion will be a pivotal one since Rex will also mention something about Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) posing as Kate.
That’ll lead to Xander passing the news along to Abigail later, so she’ll get the idea that Kristen might’ve posed as Sarah, too.
Abigail will score some great clues in the coming episodes, so don’t miss what’s ahead!
