Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 27, teases that Alexander “Alex” Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will spill some Phoenix news before Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) gets a big surprise. Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will also face a bloody goodbye to Salem, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Alex will explain why he’s popped up in Salem out of the blue.
It turns out Alex has been having some major disagreements with his twin brothers at their research company in Phoenix.
Alex decided to come visit his other brother instead, so Sonny will eventually admit he’s glad to see him.
Since Alex will like the vibe of Salem, he’ll think he’d like to take the summer off and just hang out in town.
Of course, Days spoilers say Alex will wind up staying much longer – especially since he’ll grow interested in Titan and want to work alongside Sonny at the family business.
In the meantime, Alex will frighten Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) by threatening her with a necktie.
Days spoilers say Alex pretend he wants revenge for Anjelica Deveraux’s (Judith Chapman) death, even though it wasn’t really Bonnie’s fault.
Anjelica keeled over due to natural causes during a shouting match with Bonnie, but the details don’t matter anyway.
Although Anjelica gave birth to Alex, Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) was the one who raised him.
Alex certainly isn’t holding any grudges over the biological mother he barely knew.
The point of all this will be to highlight who Alex’s parents are and make a little joke about the necktie killer.
Justin will also get a big surprise when he realizes his son is in Salem, so there’ll be a warm family reunion with Alex at the center.
However, Justin will also have a run-in with Orpheus (George DelHoyo) that leaves him infuriated.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will get in on that tense encounter and hope to take Orpheus down before he does any more damage.
At the hospital, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will get Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) set up in an exam room with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) before rushing to Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) aid.
Jada will feel rather unnerved after more gunman drama goes down, so Eric will console her.
Speaking of that gunman, he just pumped a bullet into Jake’s gut – one that’ll lead to his death.
Jake will have to bid farewell to Salem as his stint comes to a bloody and abrupt end, so devastation is looming for Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) may have big plans for Jake’s body despite his sudden passing, so stick with DOOL!
