Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, June 1, tease that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will play matchmaker while Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) begs Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) for therapy. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will also accuse Belle Brady (Martha Madison) of abandoning her marriage, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
In the town square, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will catch up with Marlena, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Of course, that should involve spreading the news about being removed from the priesthood and deciding to stick around Salem.
At some point, Eric will have an awkward conversation with Nicole as well.
Brady will be there to pick up on the vibe between them and may call Eric out on still being in love with Nicole.
In a moment alone, Eric will open up to Brady and get some advice.
Brady may urge Eric to make his move with Nicole before it’s too late since she’s currently engaged to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), but Eric will struggle to meddle in her new relationship.
As for Nicole, she’ll have some guidance for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) as well.
Days spoilers say Nicole will get updates on EJ’s feelings for Belle, so she’ll play Cupid – at least on EJ’s side of this potential romance.
Although EJ will feel like he needs to back off for the sake of Belle and Shawn’s marriage, Nicole may not be sure how much is left to save.
Once Nicole hears about the latest Jan drama, she’ll think this is the perfect opportunity for EJ to strike.
Like Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), Nicole may sense that EJ is genuinely falling for Belle.
A small part of Nicole might be rooting for EJ’s happiness, but a bigger part of her may be rooting for Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) to flip out once she returns to town!
Sami would certainly disapprove of her sister dating her ex-husband, so it’s easy to see why Nicole might want to stir the pot.
Whatever the case, Nicole will give EJ a shove in Belle’s direction and hope he’s willing to pursue her.
Over with Jan, she’ll summon a couple of visitors and hope they’re willing to do some big favors.
Jan will ask Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) to stop by, so that should lead to her making a babysitting pitch like she gave Shawn.
Days viewers know Jan wants to watch little Bo Weston (Cody and Warren Krasnow) with Shawn and prepare for parenthood.
Ben may not think Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will go for the idea, even with Shawn there to supervise Jan and make sure she doesn’t pull anything crazy.
However, Jan may insist she’s just looking for another chance like the one Ben was given.
In the end, Ben may agree to at least talk to Ciara about this babysitting plan and see what Ciara says.
Jan will also turn to Marlena for assistance, so that should bring her therapy proposal.
Since Jan doesn’t want to land back in prison, she’ll recruit Marlena so that she can put in the work and show she’s a changed woman – even if she really isn’t!
At the Salem PD, Shawn will rant about the divorce papers he assumes Belle just gave him.
Belle will explain that this is a legal separation agreement, but Shawn will still accuse her of giving up on their marriage and future.
Finally, Ciara will want to talk to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) about something that’s both a request and an honor.
It sounds like Ciara will want Rafe to be Baby Bo’s godfather, so he should be thrilled as he accepts this special title.
