Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, June 15, tease that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will get some bad news while Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) face off. Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) heart will also break for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), who’ll have more questions about Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and the night of the murder.
First on Wednesday’s Days episode, Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) will have some bad news to share with Gabi.
There’s a chance Li will be the one to fill Gabi in on Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) death – though you’d think a high-profile death like that would be the talk of the town by now.
Of course, Li’s bad news could also be about his departure.
Although Li wanted to hang around and spend some time getting to know Gabi, he may be needed back in Hong Kong.
A former DiMera Enterprises CEO’s wife was just murdered, so Li may have to put out some fires related to the media crisis.
Whatever the case, Li will surely leave the door open for Gabi to visit him if he’s indeed headed home now.
Gabi will be headed to Hong Kong this July for Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem, so Li will have a chance to show her around. In other words, Li and Gabi aren’t quite done with each other yet!
In the meantime, DOOL spoilers say Jake will overhear Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) on a difficult phone call.
That could lead to Jake and Steve discussing what a horrible loss Abigail’s death is.
Jake will grow concerned about Chad, so it won’t be long until he decides to pay his brother a visit and offer some comfort.
Until then, Chad will be busy grilling Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) about Lucas and how far he might’ve gone to keep Abigail quiet about the kidnapping secret.
At the pub, Lucas will console Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain), but he’ll face guilt since he can’t remember his actions after falling off the wagon.
The fact that Lucas has an injured hand is only adding to his fears right now.
At Statesville, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will approach Gwen now that he’s shown up for a visit.
Once Jack sits down with Gwen, he’ll completely crumble and wonder how something like this could’ve happened to Abigail.
It’s doubtful Gwen is the murderer, but she’s still keeping secrets about that night.
Ava obviously helped Gwen with a temporary jailbreak, so she’ll show up to confront Gwen and push for answers about whether she’s a killer.
That’ll lead to a confrontation as Gwen denies Ava’s accusations, but Ava may worry that she’s not getting the whole story.
Other Days spoilers say Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will be out of the hospital, so he’ll make his way to Jake’s apartment at some point.
Ava will let Tripp in and face a tough blow since he’s moving to Seattle for the summer.
Although Ava will be disappointed to learn Tripp won’t be nearby anymore, she’ll understand why he wants to get to know Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) a bit better.
Ava will also get that Tripp needs time away after everything that went down with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) as well as the devil.
Tripp knows what he’s doing, so Ava will ultimately respect his decision and give her son a heartfelt goodbye hug.
As for Steve, he’ll raise a beer to toast and give Tripp a little sendoff in the town square.
Tripp will promise to keep in touch and come back eventually, so Steve will certainly hope his son keeps his word on that.
Days spoilers say Tripp will depart the main show, but look for him to appear in Beyond Salem on Peacock this July.
