Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, June 15, teases that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will keep a secret from Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) while Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) bids farewell to Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) will also have a bombshell for Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), so let’s talk about what DOOL has in store.
At the pub, Lucas will hide the truth about his bender and lack of memories from the night Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was killed.
While Lucas supports Jennifer through this difficult loss, he’ll still be wondering if he might’ve stabbed Abigail to death.
Of course, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) let it slip that Lucas knew about Abigail finding out his snatching secret, so Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will want answers.
Chad already accused Kate of going too far and murdering Abigail, but now he’ll consider Lucas a more likely suspect.
While Kate works to shut down Chad’s suspicions, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will eavesdrop on Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) phone conversation.
It looks like Steve will be talking about Abigail’s murder, so Jake will hate what Chad’s going through and will decide to pay him a visit.
Chad and Jake have never developed a true bond as brothers, but they’re still blood.
That’ll be enough for Jake to reach out and try to comfort Chad soon enough. This might even serve as a turning point that’ll bring Jake and Chad closer.
In the meantime, Days spoilers say Tripp will deliver a difficult shocker to Ava.
DOOL fans know how much Ava adores Tripp, so she’ll be crushed when she finds out he’s leaving Salem.
However, Tripp will explain why he needs to clear his head and try to connect with his half-siblings in Seattle.
Since Ava knows Tripp’s had a lot of heartbreak lately, she’ll find a way to get behind this summer trip to see Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine).
After Ava embraces Tripp, they’ll share an emotional goodbye – though Tripp won’t want Ava thinking he’ll be a stranger.
Tripp can always call and video chat while he’s away, so he’ll try to make this blow easier for Ava to accept.
Steve isn’t exactly thrilled about Tripp leaving either, but Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) pushed him to see things Tripp’s way.
Now that Steve’s on board, he’ll share one last beer with Tripp before he departs Salem.
There’ll be some sweet father-son moments as Tripp vows to come home soon.
As for Li, could he be headed home to Hong Kong as well? Li delayed his return flight so he could get to know Gabi, but he’s about to deliver some tough news.
That could be a combination of things if Li’s the first one to tell Gabi about Abigail’s death.
This could also create a bit of a situation for DiMera Enterprises since Chad’s still so connected to the company.
Now that Chad’s wife has been murdered in her own home, this is probably blowing up as a major story – one that Li needs to get back to Hong Kong and handle.
Regardless, Li and Gabi have some Hong Long fun ahead of them in Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem this July.
Tripp will be featured in the Peacock series as well, so his exit won’t mean saying goodbye forever!
In prison, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will deal with Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) weepy visit before Ava comes to hurl accusations.
Ava apparently arranged for Gwen’s quick escape the night Abigail died, so she’ll show up to bicker with Gwen about whether she’s responsible.
Days spoilers say the mystery behind Abigail’s demise will deepen, so plenty of Salemites will be part of this hot plot.
