Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 2, reveals that “Renee” aka Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) ran to Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) after Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) reunited. Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) also devastated Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) all over again, so let’s talk about how Wednesday’s DOOL action played out.
On the jet, Chad and Tony had nailed down the island location and were on their way there.
That gave Tony a chance to reminisce about Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler) being his obsessed past love – though he admitted it was less complicated now that she was dead.
Meanwhile, Abigail tried to talk some sense into Sarah, who lashed over being called by that name and insisted she was “Renee.”
However, Abigail convinced Sarah to listen to the whole story and tried to convince her that Kristen wasn’t on her side.
Abigail talked about Sarah getting kidnapped after catching Kristen impersonating Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk).
Abigail said Sarah believed she was Renee due to the drug dose she received and the diary she read.
Abigail knew from personal experience how bad things could get with that drug, but she thought Sarah could get professional help.
Unfortunately, Sarah felt like Abigail was the crazy one and latched onto her mention of Chad DiMera being her husband.
Sarah was pleased over having a DiMera connection through Abigail and wanted updates on Tony.
Next, a flashback revealed that Sarah had knocked out Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), which allowed Kristen to gain the upper hand on him as well as Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
In the present, Steve and Kayla were bound and gagged at a dinner table, but Kristen ultimately served them a special anniversary meal featuring island chicken and Champagne.
Once Kayla and Steve were alone, they decided they didn’t think anything was poisoned and opted to eat.
That led to a surprising romantic dinner as the two of them reflected on their Valentine’s Day weddings.
After Chad and Tony made it to the run-down mansion on the island, they went on the hunt for Abigail.
Kristen walked in the living room moments later and grew suspicious after thinking she heard the door.
Nevertheless, Kristen soon turned her attention back to her captives.
After Kristen approached Steve and Kayla with her gun again, she admitted to lying to them about something before.
Back in Sarah’s bedroom on Wednesday’s Days episode, Abigail was thrilled to see Chad and rushed into his arms. Sarah took in the scene and thought it was quite the romantic reunion.
When Tony appeared, “Renee” jumped into his arms for a romantic reunion of her own – leaving Tony looking completely bewildered.
In Salem, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) found Allie crying and heard the derailed engagement story.
Kate was upset over how Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) blew things up, but she wondered if maybe Allie needed time to question her sexuality.
Allie insisted she wasn’t questioning anything and knew she loved Tripp.
She didn’t have much hope for reconciliation, but Kate offered a pep talk before leading Allie to the pub.
As for Tripp on Wednesday’s Days episode, he sat down at the bar and listened to Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) words of wisdom.
After Tripp recapped the betrayal drama, Roman wondered if Tripp might be willing to give Allie another chance.
When Kate appeared with Allie, she also asked if Tripp could find it in his heart to forgive her.
Since Allie didn’t want Tripp to feel pressured, she stepped aside to speak with him privately.
Allie made an emotional speech about her love for Tripp and how it would never change.
Allie said all the right things, but Tripp felt he couldn’t trust Allie anymore and didn’t want to live that way.
Kate seemed to feel bad about setting Allie up for another rejection, but Allie just wanted to go home.
Once Allie was back at the apartment, she found Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) note that promised to get up with Henry Horton (Clyde and Nash Gunderson) so that Allie could sleep in with Tripp.
Allie cried over Nicole’s hope that she had the best Valentine’s Day ever.
As for Tripp, he was down in the dumps as he made his way back to the romantic picnic site and sulked over the ring he took back.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole will have some comforting words for Allie in the coming episodes, so stay tuned to DOOL.
