Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 18, teases that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will carry out a Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton search while Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) secret is in jeopardy. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will also clue in Abe Carver (James Reynolds), so let’s talk about what DOOL has in store.
After Sarah is discharged from the hospital, she’ll settle back in the Kiriakis mansion and look forward to a reunion with her little girl.
There’s just one big problem since Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton is dead and gone!
Days spoilers say Sarah will get pushy about seeing her baby, so Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will land in a tight spot.
Despite an attempt to confess the real story, Maggie and Xander will decide to delay the inevitable.
Xander in particular may want this delay since the truth could bring on another round of Sarah’s fury and derail their reunion.
While Xander’s trying to handle this tricky situation, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will make an announcement that bums Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) out.
Whether Eric considers leaving for Africa again or has some other form of bad news, Nicole will be down in the dumps.
After Xander tells Sarah that Eric is watching “Mickey,” he’ll move forward with a new plan. Xander will want Eric to claim he’s taken “Mickey” on vacation, but Eric isn’t going to like this pitch.
Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Maggie will grow concerned when Sarah takes off unexpectedly. It could leave Maggie with concerns about Sarah getting blindsided with a bombshell regarding the baby.
At Nicole’s place, she’ll be surprised when Sarah shows up and angrily demands to see “Mickey.”
That’ll confuse Nicole since Sarah’s daughter is dead – and it’s not like Nicole is still with Eric anymore at this point.
It should quickly dawn on Nicole that Sarah doesn’t quite have all her memories.
Once Nicole determines that, she’ll probably choose to be careful about what she says and push Sarah to seek answers elsewhere.
Speaking of answers, Abe and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will be looking for some in the aftermath of TR Coates (William Christian) death.
There’ll be things about the shooting that still don’t add up, but Paulina will continue to cover for Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers).
Days spoilers say Lani and Paulina will keep their secret under wraps, but Lani will struggle as her guilt takes a toll. It could leave Abe worried if he picks up on Lani’s nervousness.
Once Abe and Steve compare notes about the crime scene as well as Paulina’s confession, Abe’s suspicions will be on the rise even more.
Although Abe will be closing in on the truth, Paulina will hold out hope that she can keep Lani out of prison and protect her family.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani will be haunted by what she’s hiding, so it’ll be interesting to see how long she can stay tight-lipped!
