Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 2, reveals that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) faced a model disaster while Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) spilled a secret. Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) also interrogated Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), so here’s how all the Days drama went down.
First on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Johnny pulled back from a close moment with Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) and suggested she’d better get to DiMera Enterprises for her first day.
Although Johnny was eager to take EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) down, Wendy wavered a bit since she already had the job she wanted and loved her brother. Nevertheless, Wendy decided she was still in and needed to know what Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) was capable of.
Soon after, Gabi met up with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) in the town square and saw Johnny having a rather intense conversation with Wendy. That left Gabi curious, so she quizzed Johnny and Wendy together.
Johnny acted like he met Wendy through Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine) and offered to show her around, but Gabi remained skeptical. In a moment alone, Gabi pushed for the truth, so Johnny claimed he was hitting on Wendy in a subtle and charming way.
Talk eventually turned to Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), so Johnny admitted he thought Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) might’ve done something to change Stefan’s mind about Gabi.
However, Gabi said she questioned Rolf and believed he was innocent for some reason. Regardless, Gabi was adamant about being with Li now and not letting anything stand in the way of her happiness.
At Basic Black, Brady caught Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) trashing him on a phone call with Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo). Once Brady expressed concern about Stefan preying on Chloe while she was vulnerable, she made it clear it was none of his business.
Brady kept acting like Chloe didn’t understand, so she wondered if he would finally tell her what was going on – especially since Brady moved Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) the sociopath into the townhouse.
At DiMera Enterprises, Kristen approached Li about a promotion that would get Chloe out of Basic Black and as far away from Brady as possible. When Li shut down the idea, Kristen threatened to tell Gabi the truth about Li’s role in Stefan’s brainwashing.
Li wasn’t convinced, so Kristen upped the ante by suggesting she’d get Dr. Rolf to undo the programming. At that point, Li admitted he sent Dr. Rolf out of town and revealed he was now in cahoots with EJ.
Wendy came along and eavesdropped, but she dropped her phone when she pulled it out to record. That led to a close call once Kristen and Li heard the commotion, but Wendy acted like she just blundered while trying to take a selfie.
After Wendy met Kristen and took off, Kristen threatened Li again – this time with the promise of telling both Stefan and Gabi the truth. Kristen also suggested Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) could undo Stefan’s programming and that he’d take over DiMera with Gabi while Li got nothing.
In the end on Wednesday’s Days episode, Li caved in and vowed to promote Chloe. Wendy did a little more snooping and called Johnny to tell him that she thought they were right.
Back in the town square, Gabi called Li to remind him of their cake-tasting for the wedding, but he confessed there’d be a delay due to a personal matter that came up at work. Kristen then pushed Li to go offer Chloe her dream job.
At Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) apartment, Nicole Walker-Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) interrupted his morning in bed with Jada. Eric and Jada were in robes as Nicole explained there was an emergency editorial team meeting for Bella magazine.
As a result, Eric put some clothes on and rushed to Titan with Nicole. An enthusiastic Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) wanted to put Nicole on the cover since Eric brought out something special in her and vice versa.
At the Salem PD, Jada mentioned something about Nicole filling in as a model, so Rafe wasn’t pleased over the updates. The fact that Nicole kept this from Rafe got under his skin, but he knew he had to trust Nicole – and Jada knew she had to trust Eric.
Back at Basic Black, Alex brought Nicole and Eric in, so they all interrupted Chloe and Brady’s discussion. After Alex played up Nicole’s return to modeling, he roped Brady into modeling alongside her.
That turned out to be a disaster since Brady was terrible at it, so he ultimately walked out of the photoshoot. Chloe then cornered Brady to ask what he was trying to tell her earlier.
Meanwhile, Eric kept staring at Nicole across the room – and she stared back as sparks flew. Alex picked up on the steaminess and decided Eric was the perfect person to model with Nicole since he knew how to smolder.
