Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of August 29-September 2 teases that Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) brainwashing will be back on while Ava DiMera (Tamara Braun) faces accusations that she’s mentally unfit. Orpheus (George DelHoyo) will also release an alarming video, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
After Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) convinces Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) won’t be a problem, she’ll bring her PR firm on board at Titan.
However, Alex won’t give up on trying to score a date and will bring Stephanie some flowers to woo her.
Stephanie will reject Alex once again before Sonny puts him in his place.
Although Sonny will want Alex to keep his distance, that plan won’t last long! Alex will keep at it, so Stephanie will start to realize he’s not so bad eventually.
In the meantime, Orpheus will send a box of his own special goodies to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
There’ll be components for a puzzle that must be solved before the clock runs out.
If Steve and the others can’t pull it off in an hour, then captive Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will all die in an explosion.
Orpheus will deliver a gleeful video message and hope for failure – though he could let the bomb explode whether they succeed or not.
Luckily, John will work together with Steve and Roman to gain the upper hand. That means all the hostages will be rescued in the end, so there’ll be cause for celebration.
Next, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will eavesdrop on Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) phone call with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton).
That’ll bring more suspicions about what Li is up to and why he’s acting so secretive.
However, Li will do his best to throw Gabi off the trail.
Days spoilers say Gabi and Li will have other problems to worry about since EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will call for a shareholders meeting soon after.
That’s where EJ will use Ava’s hallucinations against her and act like she’s unfit to be part of the vote.
Ava will deny seeing “Jake,” who was actually Stefan, so Gabi and Li will claim she’s telling the truth.
Unfortunately, it looks like EJ will have some sort of proof, so maybe he’ll reveal a secretly recorded conversation – one where Ava clearly admits to hallucinating.
Later, EJ will order Ava out of the DiMera mansion, but he’ll relent when Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) threatens to move out, too.
Johnny will stand up for Ava and express how disappointed he is in EJ’s despicable behavior.
Other Days spoilers say Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will deal with some family drama.
Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) will find a reason to rip into Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), but it’ll really boil down to her desire to see her parents back together.
Although Rachel will want Brady and Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) reunion, Brady may gently set his daughter straight and assure Chloe that he’s all hers.
Of course, Kristen will keep plotting with Dr. Rolf, who’ll get his brainwashing process back on track.
It won’t be long until Stefan’s mind is manipulated into loving Chloe – assuming Dr. Rolf’s next attempt works!
Across town, EJ will remain a tricky subject for Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer).
DOOL spoilers say Shawn and Belle will have more work to do if they want to move past their EJ issues.
Over with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), she’ll beg Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to believe she’s innocent.
Chad will indeed have a reason to doubt Gwen’s guilt in the aftermath of that conversation.
Since Gwen should still be locked up, someone else will be to blame for Sonny’s stabbing.
Chad will find Sonny’s wounded body and get him to the hospital ASAP.
As for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), he’ll feel backed into a corner after being in the wrong place at the wrong time again.
Leo may be accused of attacking Sonny, but he’ll surely insist it was someone else.
Sonny will be clinging to life following this bloody ordeal, so Alex, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) will all hold vigil.
