Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of August 8-12 teases that Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) will expose the tooth fairy aka Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) while Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) pulls off a priest trick at the prison.
DOOL’s weekly promo kicks off with an excited Thomas, who points Leo out to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) in the town square. Of course, this will be Thomas’ confirmation that Leo is the tooth fairy he saw in the secret room.
The wheels will start turning for Chad, who’ll realize Thomas met Leo in the basement shortly before Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was murdered. Chad will manhandle Leo and demand some answers since this huge secret is just now coming to light.
As luck would have it, Clyde Weston (James Read) is on the verge of identifying Leo as the stolen jewelry peddler, too. Days spoilers say Leo will find himself on the hot seat in more ways than one soon enough!
Next, Xander and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will hope to prove Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) killed Abigail. We’d say their murderer theory is wrong, but at least one part of it’s right since Gwen indeed escaped Statesville that night.
Xander will settle on a priest disguise and visit the warden (Cassandra Relynn), so he’ll go undercover and try to pry information out of her. If Xander can score evidence that Gwen left the slammer, it could go a long way toward proving her guilt.
Xander will introduce himself as Father Callum O’Brien and flash a smile, so he’ll turn on the charm and hope for the best. By the time Xander finishes this little chat, he should feel confident Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) broke Gwen out the same evening Abigail died.
However, Days spoilers say Sarah and Xander will still need Ava’s cooperation before they can take Gwen down. We’ll see Xander and Sarah discuss how they can get Ava to betray Gwen, but this strategy could be a risky one.
