Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of December 19-23 teases that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will feel an intense connection following the explosion. Perhaps almost losing each other will make EJ and Nicole realize their feelings are deeper than they thought.
Nicole and EJ will lock lips in the not-too-distant future, but let’s focus on Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) downfall for a moment.
This explosion plot has obviously backfired big time since Ava never planned for Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) to be anywhere near the church.
Tripp won’t be hurt all that much – at least not physically.
Even so, Tripp’s emotional wounds will be significant as he realizes Ava was willing to play dead and harm innocent people with an explosive device.
Once Tripp puts Ava on full blast, DOOL spoilers say he’ll suddenly fear for her life all over again.
Ava will apparently have severe internal injuries that leave her struggling to stay alive.
Marlena may have some bumps and bruises from her own explosion ordeal.
However, it’ll mostly be a case of Marlena getting rattled and needing some extra TLC from John Black (Drake Hogestyn) later.
Other Days spoilers say Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will rely on Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) assistance as his cover-up becomes even harder to maintain.
Bonnie Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) mental trauma will make matters worse and add to how guilty Xander feels.
As for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), he’ll land in a tight spot and get some help from Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker).
Sonny will come to Leo’s rescue, which is something he’s been doing a lot lately.
Next, Days spoilers say Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will get the best news ever when Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) comes home for the holidays.
Paulina’s legal battle will apparently get sorted out or at least put on hold.
While Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) advises Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) on how to handle his Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) problem, Chloe will be busy clashing with her.
The claws will come out for Kristen and Chloe as their faceoff heats up.
Elsewhere, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will leave Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) sweating bullets as he grills her about Jakarta and all the secrets she’s been keeping.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will swoop in and make sure Wendy stays tight-lipped about Stefan’s programming for now.
As Christmas approaches, Kate will get an unexpected visitor. Days spoilers say Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) will head back to Salem and warm Kate’s heart with some updates on his life.
The Horton tree-trimming event will bring some familiar faces home as well.
Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) will return to help decorate and wish Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) could be around to join her family.
Abigail will quite literally be there in spirit as she appears to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and brings some light to his world again.
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and the twins will also leave Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) ecstatic, so there’ll be a full house for Christmas this year.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say the week of December 19-23 will bring some shockers along with some special gifts, so stick with DOOL.
