Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of January 10-14 teases that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will threaten to kill Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) in the courtroom as the kidnapping case explodes. Here’s what Days fans can expect once EJ’s shocking trial gets underway.
For starters, EJ will beg Belle Brady (Martha Madison) to serve as his attorney and get him off the hook for kidnapping Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).
Belle may wonder why she should help the guy who kidnapped her sister, but EJ will insist he’s not responsible.
EJ will try to convince Belle that he was framed and will offer Lucas as an alternative snatcher.
Of course, Belle will have her work cut out for her thanks to Lucas’ cooked-up evidence and Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) role in bringing it forward.
Plus, Lucas struck a deal with Jason Smith (Noel Gugliemi), who’s sticking to his story that EJ ordered Sami’s abduction.
Belle will know she’s got quite a battle ahead, but she’ll take EJ’s case and do her best to fight the charges against him. Unfortunately, EJ will prove to be a bit of a wildcard.
After Lucas takes the stand to accuse the devious DiMera, it’ll naturally set EJ off. Days spoilers say EJ will let his anger get the best of him, so it won’t be long until he has a major courtroom meltdown.
Once EJ shouts that Lucas is the one who kidnapped Sami, he’ll threaten to kill him.
The judge will no doubt call for order and urge Belle to control her client or else! DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) may use EJ’s outburst to prove he’s a vengeful, violent man who’s capable of anything.
We should note that Chad will be guilt-ridden as he prepares to testify, but his plan to come clean won’t pan out.
There’ll be something that stops Chad from speaking the truth, so it might be the devil himself!
DOOL’s weekly preview video shows Johnny in the courtroom, so there’s surely a good reason for that.
The devil has fully taken over Johnny’s mind and body, so he wouldn’t waste time being at this trial if he wasn’t going to have some fun.
Possessed Johnny may find a way to influence Chad and even the outcome of the case itself, but we’ll see how it all plays out!
