Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of June 20-24 teases that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will propose to Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and confess he’s got a secret. Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will also get married, so let’s talk about all the DOOL drama ahead.
For starters, Days spoilers say Paulina will be released on bail, so that’ll lead to a rushed wedding that coincides with a Juneteenth celebration.
Abe and Paulina will gather with many of their loved ones, including Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs) and Theo Carver (James Reynolds) once they return to Salem.
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will serve as the officiant for these nuptials, which will bring some fun moments despite Lani Price’s (Sal Stowers) growing guilt.
Lani will struggle as she imagines TR Coates’ (William Christian) ghost, so the reception should be derailed by her killer confession.
Sami will also make her Days comeback, but she’ll quickly notice that Lucas seems on edge.
That’ll bring some questions about Lucas’ strange behavior, so he’ll be tempted to confess everything he’s been bottling up.
Lucas kidnapped Sami and framed EJ for it with Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) help.
Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) found out what Lucas was hiding – and now he’s worried that his drunken bender resulted in her death.
In Lucas’ hotel room, he’ll get emotional as he tells Sami that he wants her to be his wife.
However, it seems Lucas won’t want to enter this union with so many secrets threatening to tear them apart.
Lucas will admit he has something to confess to Sami, but she’ll sense that he’s truly terrified of spilling.
Sami will insist she loves Lucas no matter what and will smile as she pushes him to just tell her.
Of course, there’s no way Lucas is going to come clean about everything he’s hiding.
Lucas may confess to falling off the wagon, but he’ll no doubt come up with some other excuses to explain away that drunken night.
The promo might even be a bit out of order and misleading if Lucas’ confession is the marriage proposal itself.
Lucas might act like he’s been nervous about asking Sami to make this lifelong commitment.
DOOL fans know Sami has quite the temper, so Lucas will realize she might never forgive all his betrayals.
With that in mind, Lucas will have to shift gears and confess to far less than the whole truth.
