Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap review for the week of November 14-18 reveals that Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) pulled off a mafia princess impersonation – and Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) made a revenge confession. Let’s talk about how all the Days drama went down.
For starters, DOOL fans finally learned all the gory details of Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) secret.
Chanel had an affair with Dr. Nathan Bedford, who was her English professor while she was living in London.
Martha Bedford was Nathan’s furious wife, who attacked Chanel on a rooftop during their eventual confrontation.
Chanel fought back and accidentally sent Martha tumbling over the edge, so Martha faced a deadly fate.
Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) did what she does best and threw money around to cover up the whole thing, but Sloan still managed to track Chanel and Paulina down for revenge.
Since Martha was Sloan’s beloved mother, she certainly didn’t intend to let this go!
Nathan drank himself to death and revealed the truth to his daughter in his final moments, so Sloan did her research and ultimately confessed why she wanted payback.
It’s nice to finally learn more about who Sloan is and how far she’ll go to get what she wants.
Sloan definitely needed a backstory to give her character some depth, so this Chanel-related one helped and made her a big part of the action.
Of course, we also have to mention Kayla and Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) Seattle rescue, which took them to the Serpent’s Den.
That dive bar mission was a fun little departure from the usual stories in Salem.
Mary Beth Evans was hilarious and seemed to be having a blast playing her over-the-top version of Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) of the Vitali crime family.
The gum chewing was a nice touch!
Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) was rescued in the end, so Steve and Kayla came through when he needed them most.
Now it’s the real Ava who’s about to go off the rails in a big way, so stay tuned for more Days mayhem.
