Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap review for the week of November 28-December 2 reveals that DOOL’s couple killer problem was in full force. The show has a habit of destroying reunions that fans want, so let’s talk about the latest example.
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) have a love story that spans decades, so it’s easy to see why plenty of people were rooting for “Ericole” to finally have some happiness.
After all, viewers had to suffer through Nicole’s farce of a marriage to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) for months.
The show didn’t even give Rafe and Nicole an onscreen wedding, so that relationship was always just an obstacle for Eric and Nicole.
However, now the path is wide open with single Nicole and single Eric. Unfortunately, all the Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) baby drama brought fallout that’ll be difficult to move past anytime soon.
As EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) pointed out, Nicole didn’t drive Jada to the abortion clinic at gunpoint.
Just because Nicole spoke her mind doesn’t mean she cost Eric his chance at being a father.
Jada made the decision for herself, but it would’ve been nice if she’d given Eric a heads-up since she previously told him she was keeping the baby.
Nicole and Eric said some things they can’t take back during their major confrontation at Basic Black.
Eric feels like his trust was broken, but this just seems like yet another unnecessary hurdle.
It’s a shame Days couldn’t give Nicole a miracle baby or pursue some other route with Eric, especially since these two have such sizzling chemistry.
After all that buildup, the show has dropped the ball on the “Ericole” reunion that many fans were waiting for.
It’s a familiar tale when you think about how many attempts it took for Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey) to get married.
Once they finally did, Sarah wound up threatening to divorce Xander almost immediately over his exposed secrets.
Instead of a blissful honeymoon period, Xander reverted to his sinister side and is now sitting on another secret that’ll inevitably ruin his marriage to Sarah.
There’s never been any peace with this reunion; it’s only been a ticking time bomb!
Fortunately, there’s still hope for Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus).
The road to their reunion has been a rocky one, but Days spoilers hint that Gabi and Stefan will get a happy ending at some point.
Until then, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) have become secret-keepers in the whole brainwashing saga, so they’re complicit in Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) and EJ’s deception.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi and Li’s wedding will bring some surprises on New Year’s Eve, so stay tuned to DOOL.
