Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap review for the week of October 10-14 reveals that Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) the firecracker made a fast impression, but Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) remained a snooze. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) also found her scheming sweet spot, so let’s talk about how all the DOOL drama went down.
For starters, we should address the threesome that had social media buzzing.
Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) all went to bed together, but it felt pointless and was a pretty tame love scene all things considered.
Although Wendy Shin had already appeared on the Beyond Salem series, she recently made her main Days debut and stole the show.
Wendy has such a fun and feisty personality, so she seemed to fit in Salem right away.
It’s nice that Wendy’s attitude feels distinctive – as evidenced by her comments about being the summa to Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) magna and being shipped off to the tundra until she could produce male grandchildren.
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Sloan, who just feels sort of vaguely sassy and doesn’t have much of a personality other than her willingness to play dirty.
Sloan needs more character development if they want her to stick around – and we need to know more about her backstory, too.
There’s untapped potential with Sloan, but she remains a snooze for now.
However, Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) deathbed wedding to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) was surprisingly heartfelt.
This biotoxin storyline has been delivering some lovely family moments for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) as well.
Finally, it feels like Days has found a sweet spot for Kristen as a schemer.
Using the orchid as leverage for a Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) reunion made Kristen feel more like the master manipulator she used to be.
That’s better than the careless version of Kristen who constantly pulls guns and lands behind bars.
Kristen shouldn’t be a cartoonish villain, so it was great to see her calmly carry out a successful scheme instead of going off the rails.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will continue to make Brady’s life difficult, so stay tuned!
