Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview video for the week of October 17-21 teases that Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will flatline before Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine) will become rivals for Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace). Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will also lose to Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), so let’s discuss some brewing DOOL drama.
First, Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) will run the appropriate tests and try the serum on Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
Marlena will quickly make a miraculous recovery, so Rex will expect the same results when he administers a dose to Kayla.
Instead, Days spoilers say Kayla will fade even faster and will start going into the light. After Kayla calls out to her mom, she’ll flatline and leave her loved ones in panic mode.
It turns out Kayla will die and go to heaven briefly, but she’ll be revived in the end.
It won’t be long until Kayla is recovering along with Marlena, so Tripp and Joey will turn their attention to Wendy.
Since both Tripp and Joey will be interested in dating the same woman, they’ll decide they should let the best Johnson win!
Of course, Wendy will be spending a lot of time with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) thanks to their alliance, so she’s bound to fall for him sooner or later.
Over with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), Days spoilers say he’ll fear Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) isn’t going to make it.
Rex will inevitably rush in with the serum and help Kate live to enjoy her new marriage to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor).
Sadly, a breakup is on the way for Chloe since Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will keep his end of the bargain.
Brady vowed to dump Chloe and reunite with Kristen if the serum worked, so he’ll indeed break things off with Chloe despite his own pain.
Chloe won’t understand why Brady is suddenly pushing her away, but he’ll claim he has to put Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) first.
Once Chloe realizes Brady, Kristen and Rachel will all be living under one roof, she’s sure to be appalled.
Outside the pub, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will catch Nicole Walker-Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) in another warm embrace.
That’ll cause Rafe’s anger to explode as he reminds Nicole that he’s her husband now.
Rafe will wonder if maybe he made a mistake with Nicole and might second-guess marrying her at all since she’s still so connected to Eric.
Nicole may assure Rafe of her commitment, but there’ll be more emotional distance than ever in this relationship.
