Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of September 19-23 tease that Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) will return to Salem while Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) gets an attacker clue. Clyde Weston (James Read) will also make a suspicious call, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on DOOL.
First, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will urge Sonny to think back to the night he was stabbed.
Sonny will end up remembering a significant clue, so Chad will mull that over and work on a theory – one that involves the person who killed Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) as well.
In the meantime, Chad will find out Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is alive, so that’ll be another shocker to contend with.
Stefan will also deal with some EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) drama since his brother will pressure him to consider a proposal.
Speaking of proposals, Clyde will plan to pop the question to Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo).
That might lead to Clyde making special arrangements over the phone.
Regardless, Nancy will eavesdrop on Clyde’s call and grow suspicious.
Days spoilers say Nancy will worry that Clyde is cheating on her, so she may confront him and learn he’s proposing instead.
A little later, Craig will come back to Salem and catch Nancy off guard along with Clyde.
Nancy may need someone to lean on soon, so that could be part of the reason for Craig’s return stint.
As for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), he’ll have a theory about who’s setting him up.
Leo will plead with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) for help and get her take on whether his theory might be right.
Will Leo suspect vengeful Clyde or someone else?
Other Days spoilers say Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will seek Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) guidance as he works to patch things up with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
Xander will be determined to get out of the doghouse and get his new marriage back on track.
At Rachel Black’s (Finley Rose Slater) custody hearing. Kristen will pull off a sneaky move when she makes sure John Black (Drake Hogestyn) has an explosive outburst.
The lab will also come through with some results for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), so they’ll study them and try to learn more about the toxin they were exposed to.
Next, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will rip into Orpheus (George DelHoyo) over what he’s done to his ex-hostages, but his fury will only make this more satisfying for Orpheus to watch.
Once Sonny realizes Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) betrayed him, a fight will break out between the brothers.
Alex has been working as Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) fixer, so Sonny may not be too happy with Victor either.
There’ll be a tricky situation for Gwen when she busts Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) with her pill bottle.
The old Gwen might’ve used a secret like that to her advantage, but the new Gwen might think she should try to help Jennifer – both for Jenn and for Jack’s sake..
Back with Craig, he’ll ultimately cross paths with Leo, so there’ll be some tension.
Chad will also put some missing puzzle pieces together as he finally unravels the mystery of Abigail’s murder.
Once Chad settles on who he believes is responsible, he’ll turn to Sonny again and get the confirmation he needs.
Sonny may remember one last hint that brings the final puzzle piece and clicks everything into place for Chad.
Will Chad find his way back to Clyde being the top suspect or will it be someone else instead?
Chad will want deadly revenge no matter what, so Abigail’s killer should be prepared for him to be armed and dangerous.
Over with Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), they’ll exchange confessions.
Eric and Nicole may come clean about their true feelings, but Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will also make a shocking discovery.
We know Jada will eventually catch Nicole and Eric’s sizzling moment at Basic Black, so this may be when she comes around the corner and spies the exes surrendering to each other.
Finally, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will make a confession of her own, so that could involve Stefan’s return and desperate desire to reunite with her.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will get some surprising news and try to process it, so we’ll pass along updates as other Days details emerge.
