Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of September 5-9 teases that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will reawaken while Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) covers for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). Paulina Price-Carver (Jackée Harry) will also decide on a shocking switch, so there’ll be some excitement happening all over Salem.
First, Leo will remain on the run while Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) pushes Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) to find him.
Rafe will vow to throw Sloan herself in jail unless she cooperates on his plan.
At the hospital, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will support Sonny along with his family.
While Sonny’s trying to recover from his stab wound, Leo will sneak in his room disguised as a female nurse.
That’ll give Leo a chance to declare his innocence and beg Sonny to believe him.
Sonny will initially think he remembers Leo stabbing him at the office, but he’ll later have some doubts about Leo’s guilt.
As a result, DOOL spoilers say Sonny will cover when another hospital employee enters.
Since Sonny won’t turn Leo into the cops, he’ll show some faith in his side of the story.
Meanwhile, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will realize Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) is hooked on pills again, so she’ll try to get Jenn the help she needs.
Jennifer will pretend she’s ready to cope with Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) death in a healthier way, but she’ll sneak more pills later.
With Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) help, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will get out on bail.
That’ll be good news on a difficult day for Gwen since Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) are about to get married.
While Sarah and Xander officially tie the knot, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will have a romantic surprise for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
That’ll bring some private moments where John pampers his love.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will continue to harass Ava DiMera (Tamara Braun), but Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will repeatedly defend her.
Later, Ava will have a stunning encounter in the DiMera crypt, so that could bring a Stefan sighting.
Stefan will indeed wake up again since Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will flat-out demand it.
Stefan will score his freedom quickly – and that means Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) will have to work fast.
Days spoilers say Li’s marriage proposal will catch Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) off guard, but she’ll ultimately agree to become his wife.
Little does Gabi know she’s about to have a run-in with her brainwashed “dead” husband soon!
Since Kristen will be acting even more bizarre than usual, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will have questions.
Now that Kristen is seeking full custody of Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater), Brady will be especially concerned about what she’s up to.
Finally, Days spoilers say Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will deliver some stunning updates and give Paulina an intriguing idea.
Based on the information Stephanie gathers, Paulina may stand a much better chance of winning this governor run than Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
Abe was mostly doing this for Paulina anyway, so he’ll step aside and happily support her own political ambitions.
Paulina will hope to become the new governor, but her shady history will come back to haunt her down the road.
