Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) could be revealed as mind-altered Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans). Will DOOL bring Adrienne back from the dead for a Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) reunion?
Ever since Adrienne was killed off, plenty of viewers have called for her return.
The show capitalized on Wally Kurth and Judi Evans’ onscreen chemistry by pairing up Justin and Bonnie, but it’s just not the same – especially since Bonnie isn’t Sonny’s mother.
Of course, there was no point in doing much with this story as long as Sonny was out of town.
However, Sonny is set to head back to Salem during the week of March 7-11 – and that could be a game-changer in terms of what happens with Bonnie.
Days spoilers say Sonny will voice concerns about Bonnie as soon as he shows up.
Sonny may even admit he made excuses so he wouldn’t have to attend Bonnie and Justin’s wedding.
Justin will no doubt defend Bonnie as usual, but this is a woman who previously impersonated Adrienne and caused serious pain – at least if we’re supposed to believe this is indeed Bonnie.
Now Bonnie has taken over dead Adrienne’s life in a different way, so Sonny may have a big problem with that.
All of this feels like it’d be a great setup for Bonnie to be revealed as Adrienne in the end.
When Bonnie’s return stint began, she spoke in the cemetery about how supercouples always end up together.
Justin and Adrienne are a supercouple, but Bonnie and Justin are just a substitute couple that works well enough in the meantime.
After the upcoming Sonny and Bonnie drama, that may be about all Days can do with Bonnie and Justin’s storyline.
It makes sense for this to build into Adrienne’s return from the dead – and that would be easy to explain if Bonnie actually died instead.
Perhaps Adrienne’s memories were manipulated following a drug dose – much like what’s happening with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), who believes she’s Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler) after reading Renee’s diary.
Maybe Days could reveal that Adrienne read Bonnie’s memoir and ultimately embraced Bonnie’s memories as her own.
In other words, the real Bonnie’s dead body might’ve been swapped in while Adrienne became the new Bonnie through someone’s twisted plot!
