Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) may dump Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) at the altar. Will Xander and Gwen’s wedding blow up over all her Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) secrets? Let’s discuss what we know so far.
DOOL fans can expect Sarah to be rescued from the remote island along with the other captives.
Days spoilers say that’ll bring Sarah back to Salem, but she’ll have no desire to reunite with Xander.
Due to Sarah’s altered mental state, the next chapter with Xander will be tricky.
Sarah made vague comments about wanting to get back to the man she loved, but she never mentioned Xander specifically.
That’s because the drug Sarah was given resulted in delusions and confusion.
When Sarah read the diary of a deceased character named Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler), she somehow wound up believing she was Renee herself.
In other words, Sarah isn’t Sarah anymore – at least not inside her own head.
Days spoilers say Sarah believes she’s Renee and will want to reunite with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) instead of Xander.
It seems Sarah will have a rather cold response to Xander once she hits town, so he’ll apparently be stuck pining for her all over again.
Of course, Xander may tell himself it’s for the best since he swore Gwen was the only woman he wanted.
Xander’s current wedding plans should move forward assuming Gwen can keep her secrets under wraps for a while longer.
We see no reason why Gwen can’t under the circumstances.
After all, there’s no proof that Gwen knew Sarah was on the island – just like there’s no proof that Gwen was involved in Abigail’s kidnapping.
Even Abigail herself doesn’t know it was Gwen who knocked her out.
As long as Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) keep their mouths shut, Gwen can play innocent.
After yet another Sarah rejection and more of Gwen’s deception, Xander may prepare to tie the knot with Gwen.
In that case, the perfect time for the truth to come out would be just before the nuptials.
Xander has been dumped on two different wedding days, so maybe it’ll be his turn to do the dumping this time around!
Gwen certainly deserves a derailed wedding, so we’ll see if she becomes a heartbroken bride.
