Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) may have to face the music in more ways than one. DOOL fans know Xander is terrified at the thought of Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey) finding out he kidnapped Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) and Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans).
However, Xander has another reason to worry since his exposure could obviously land him back in prison.
This isn’t just about Xander lying to Sarah and breaking his promise.
Xander has committed serious crimes that he might be held accountable for, especially since Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) kidnapping plot went off the rails and resulted in Susan’s presumed death.
Of course, Bonnie is also suffering from severe PTSD, so this Days story is bigger than just Xander deceiving Sarah and hurting her in the process.
Bonnie’s issues are taking an emotional toll and could haunt her for quite some time.
Days spoilers say Xander is on the verge of exposure, so it’s reasonable to think he could be arrested for his role in all this.
Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) could also go down for helping Xander with the cover-up, especially since she attacked Bonnie for the second fake abduction.
DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) might uncover enough evidence against Gwen to lock her up as well.
The last thing Gwen wants is to head back to Statesville, so Trask could push her to spill everything and help with Xander’s prosecution to avoid that.
During the week of January 2-6, Days spoilers say Gwen will indeed face pressure to turn on Xander.
That could be from Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), but it’s possible Gwen will be at the Salem PD facing Trask’s pressure by then.
This might be the perfect chance for Gwen to show she’s loyal to Xander and clam up.
It’s easy to imagine Gwen and Xander landing in jail cells across from each other as they reflect on the mess.
If Xander gets updates on Gwen refusing to save herself by aiding his takedown, that could score her even more points.
Gwen and Xander might reconnect romantically once they manage to get off the hook.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen may prove her love and loyalty, so stay tuned to see if that news will affect Xander’s heart.
