Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will have to come up with a big money lie, so his cover story will hide an Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) deal from suspicious Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey). Let’s talk about Xander’s dilemma and how it’ll affect his upcoming DOOL storyline.
Xander was hoping Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) would give him a job at The Spectator, but Jack nixed the idea since it’d be awkward for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).
Now that Gwen plans to work at the newspaper with Jack, it’s best if Xander isn’t around.
However, Xander also refused Jack’s loan and opted to figure this out for himself.
Since Xander is facing a mountain of debt from his time at the Salem Inn, he’s got a real problem on his hands.
Xander has been threatened with legal action, so Ava will soon have him right where she wants him.
After overhearing that phone call, Ava will be in the prime position to get Xander on her side for revenge.
Days spoilers say Ava will make a vengeful pitch and explain why she wants EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to pay.
If Xander can help make that happen, Ava will vow to make sure his money woes are a thing of the past.
Xander will obviously know Sarah wouldn’t like this, but he won’t see any other way out of trouble.
Unfortunately, Xander seems poised to take the deal and end up in a situation where he’s lying to Sarah.
Since Xander won’t want to alert Sarah to shady business, he may pretend Phyllis had mercy on him at the Salem Inn.
Xander might act like he was able to settle up for a much lower amount of money than he thought.
Of course, that could get Xander in trouble if Sarah thanks Phyllis in person and learns Xander paid far more than he’s letting on.
Days spoilers say Sarah’s wheels could start turning as she catches Xander in a lie.
On the other hand, Sarah might stumble across bundles of cash and put Xander on the spot when it comes to an excuse.
Xander may get more money than he knows what to do with and land in hot water when Sarah figures it out.
Whatever the case, Xander will surely have some initial cover story that falls apart down the road – and his marriage to Sarah may fall apart as a result.
The deception will be bad enough, but the fact that Xander’s scheming to hurt someone for money again will be an even bigger issue.
