Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) may explode over Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) freedom. Will a fierce faceoff go down after Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) ex gets off the hook?
DOOL fans know Gwen decided to turn down Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) escape help and face the consequences of her actions.
Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) agreed to serve as Gwen’s lawyer as a favor to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), who suggested Gwen could get her sentence knocked down to about five years by pleading guilty to the lesser charges.
However, there’s nothing in Days spoilers to indicate a lengthy prison stint for Gwen so far.
In fact, there are some good reasons to think Gwen might get off on some technicality or due to the Statesville overcrowding the show already mentioned.
Whatever the case, it’d be smart for DOOL writers to have Gwen be a free woman once it’s time for Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) upcoming murder.
Although Gwen probably won’t be guilty of that crime, she could find herself at the top of the suspect list.
Of course, Gwen’s freedom would also give Sarah a chance to unleash her wrath.
Sarah hasn’t been able to unload all her anger on Gwen just yet, so that drama may be brewing.
Now that Xander has softened toward Gwen somewhat, could land in the center of the chaos.
Sarah’s on the verge of forgiving Xander for his own mistakes – particularly not telling her the truth about Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton right away.
Days spoilers say a powerful breakthrough will help Xander and Sarah move forward, but there could still be some hurdles waiting.
Will Gwen become one of those hurdles? Gwen’s freedom could launch a round of rivalry and lead to Sarah blowing her top.
If it were up to Gwen, Sarah would still be out of her mind and on a deserted island – though Gwen claims to have great remorse now.
Sarah will hopefully have an opportunity to release her fury on Gwen when the time is right.
In the meantime, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will be pushing Gwen to help him with his revenge schemes, so he could lead her back down a risky path.
