In tonight’s FBI International episode, Special Agent Forrester’s dog is sick. His dog isn’t just some pet. He was also a cadaver dog and he works alongside Forrester’s team. He’s even helped with several cases. He was a useful dog. But he was sick and they only live for so long.

Forrester’s dog had to stay overnight at the vets. The vet was going to run tests on him and Forrester originally wanted to wait on his dog, but then something came up and it unfortunately dragged his attention away. Forrester and the international arm of the FBI were alerted after several Americans were taking hostage during a philharmonic concert in Bulgaria. The hostage takers came in with guns. They took everyone playing and the audience hostage. And their demands were simple.

The bad guys wanted ten million dollars in cryptocurrency. They either get the money or they kill people. They even killed one member of the audience to prove that they were serious. The armed men were in complete control and the security cameras were only on because the men allowed them to be on. Forrester was chosen as the spokesperson. He talked with the guy in charge and he heard the demands. He also saw the footage of them killing that poor guy to prove his point. Forrester and his team were working with Bulgarian authorities and they were therefore warned that the local police had called in their boss.

Their boss was no nonsense. He wasn’t going to give in to the demands. He was going to go in with his guns drawn and more people were going to die. So, one cop warned Forrester to do what he has to do now before it becomes too late. Forrester spoke with the man named Kostov. He demanded to know if there was anyone injured inside of the building and he was warned that two people needed help. One tried to fight back. The other was a pregnant woman. Forrester negotiated with Kostov. They were allowed to send in the paramedics and one of their own. Raines went in. He got to see the lay of the land and one of the bad guys sent him a message.

The message was “I want out”. It seems one of the bad guys hadn’t known people were going to die and he doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life behind bars. Raines got the message. He was able to pass it on to Forrester once he returned and now they had a man on the inside. They especially needed him as Kostov called to threaten them. He said if he saw anyone entering the building without his say so that he would set off the bombs hidden inside and Raines believes that might be a bluff. He didn’t see any rigging. He thinks either the bombs is made up or it was hidden inside of the walls.

The man on the inside also came out. His name is Petar. Petar said he and his cousin were brought in on a job to kidnap a wealthy businessman who was stopping the Albanian refugees from returning to their country and that the job was just supposed to be about the one guy. It wasn’t until they showed up with guns that Kostov changed the plan. He changed the plan on his men. He forced them into going along with him and now there’s no coming out of it. Petar gave Kostov full name. They looked into it and they found out he was an extremist. He was an Albanian extremist who believed in unification. He didn’t care about the money or the businessman.

The guy he killed in the first fifteen minutes was in fact the businessman. Kostov also has a condition that could cause an aneurysm at any moment and so he has nothing to lose. He could die at any moment. He’s not scared of death. He was fighting for a cause. Unfortunately, this was the moment that Bulgarian boss showed up. He armed his men and he planned on storming the building. Forrester had no other choice than to go along with it. He got the boss to agree to let his people enter the building first and they later did so. They took several men. Some that were true believers in the cause.

Forrester’s team was doing well until Kostov noticed what was happening. He grabbed an American. An American known as Jason and who was only a teenager. Forrester made it out that they transferred and that Kostov long away just enough for Raines to take the shot. He killed Kostov. The hostages were freed and only the bad guys had to die. Forrester knew his team did the heavy lifting but he still gave it to the Bulgarian police so that they could count it as a win and Forrester and his team got to return home. Forrester learned that his dog had a couple of lumps. One was found during a surgery to remove the other and so his dog had to undergo an even more extensive surgery than was planned.

And Forrester rushed home to be there with his dog just in case the worst happened.

THE END!
