Someone murdered a man and his wife at their home before disappearing with their daughter. Everyone assumed kidnapping. Even the local police. They alerted the FBI and this was given to the new SSA of the Most Wanted Task Force. Special Agent Remy Scott was no LaCroix, but he was prepared to jump with both feet in and that’s what matters. Scott and his team went to the Jones’s home. They searched the area. They even spoke to the late Mrs. Jones’s sister. The sister didn’t need to guess who would do this. She knew who was behind it. She said that his name was Jeremy Hamm. He was some loser that her niece Lillie had fallen in with. And the parents were doing their best to separate them.
Now, the parents are dead. The team looked into Jeremy. They found out he has a record and that he was older. He was twenty-two compared to Lillie’s seventeen. Jeremy lived with his mother and so they went to his house to speak to his mother. They found her murdered. Jeremy, it seems hadn’t started his killing spree with Lillie’s parents. He started with his mom. He wasn’t typically a violent person and so his violence during this investigation shocked everyone. Especially as Jeremy wasn’t done killing. He went on to kill a private investigator. The PI was following him. The guy was initially hired by Lillie’s family to track her after she went to rehab.
There he learned that Lillie had fallen in with an orderly at the rehab. The orderly was Jeremy. Jeremy had pretended to turn his life around in prison and so he was allowed to work at the rehab where he got clean. But he was there for another reason. He was looking for young, gullible, and “pure” girls. He was looking for them because he wanted to bring them to his pastor. His pastor had asked him to trace these girls. For nefarious purposes. The PI must have figured that out and he tried to save Lillie when Jeremy killed him. After the PI’s death, Lillie started asking questions. She wanted to know why that man had to die.
Jeremy told her that it was necessary. He later brought her to the pastor and she wasn’t allowed to ask questions after that. But the team was looking for her. They kept digging into the PI. They learned from his files that the rehab that Lillie attended was a front. It was attached to Pastor Bob. Bob used that place to find and rape vulnerable women. His wife doesn’t say anything. None of the wives say anything because they’ve submitted to their husbands and can’t fight back. The PI found this out after he was hired to look into rehab. Once he learned that the rehab was a front for sexually exploiting if not raping women, he tried to inform Lillie’s parents and it was too late.
They were dead. Jeremy managed to convince Lillie that she didn’t need her parents because they were standing in the way of their love and that turned out to be a lie. Jeremy was using Lillie. He brought her to a cult. It turns out that Bob had raped her while she receiving an electric shock. Like he did with the other girl. Bob impregnated Lillie and Bob’s wife Pat found out about it. Pat murdered Bob. He was apparently getting in the way of her scam. The pastor’s wife had started out a pyramid scheme in the 80s. She conned a lot of women that way. She then changed her name and fell in with Bob.
Pat convinced Bob to form a cult. She let him be the face of it. She managed to convince women to join this cult by putting a woman’s face, on the whole, submitting to the husband and truthfully she let Bob do what he wanted because she wanted a baby. A baby that she was going to get through Lillie. Pat also used the cult to get some serious funds. She scammed the parishioners out of their savings and she transferred all the money that was in the church to a private bank account under a fake name. Pat then had everyone believe that the end day was coming. The most loyal followers were going to kill themselves because they thought Pat was telling the truth about how the anointed one was going to marry the virgin.
But Pat wanted them to kill themselves so that she could cover her tracks in the scam. Secretly, she had run off with Lillie. Lillie was pregnant because the pastor raped her while she was at rehab and so Pat was keeping her prisoner until she could get a child of her own, but the team tracked her down thanks to the modern car she took. Those things have GPS trackers in them. The team arrested Pat and they freed Lillie. Lillie’s boyfriend Jeremy was dead. He had been murdered by Pat and so now Lillie only has to testify against Pat. And no one else.
