Tonight’s Fear The Walking Dead episode begins with Alicia, fans will recall that she lost her arm after being bit by a walker in the last episode. We see her shouting for help, her vision is blurred, she heads downstairs where she finds a man playing the piano, and does not hear a walker heading towards him. She pulls something off the shelf to get his attention and it smashes the ground. He manages to kill the walker and then is very angry about what she broke, it looked like a speaker of some sort, and he keeps shouting at her, “what did you do?” Alicia passes out on Paul’s floor.
Alicia wakes up on the floor, she tries to get up and looks over at the man, asking how did she get there. The man is deaf, he tells her that she has been therefore two days. He saved her from a barn. He says her arm is quite a statement. She says she got it from a bite, and she wasn’t going to let them take it from her. She says she wasn’t in a barn, she tries to think back. She says she was on her back to the people who she is staying with and she passed out.
A girl saved her. The man’s name is Paul, he tells her that she kept saying Padre over and over in her sleep. He tells her that she broke his stereo and the least she could do is help him fix it, besides she is in no shape to go anywhere. They hear someone outside and she begs Paul to hide her. It’s Arno with two men and Paul talks them into leaving. Meanwhile, Alicia is still feverish from the bite. Once they are gone, he feeds her dinner and tells her she doesn’t have to leave. She says a lot of people got hurt because of her and she doesn’t want him to get hurt. He tells her to fix his stereo with him and he will help her get back to her people in one piece.
Paul asks her how she got bit, she says trying to get out of a bad situation. He asks her if it had something to do with Padre, she was talking a lot about him in her dreams. She tells him that there is a new place, she was trying to get Arno and his people to fight for it with them. Paul says big deal, it didn’t work, stop beating herself up. They are in an auditorium now where a symphony would play and their chairs and music sheets are all around.
She asks him what he played, he says violin and piano. She tells him that he doesn’t have to go back to that house and live alone. He can come with her and her friends. Alicia hears something and heads to the door, it is Arno. He asks her how it went trying to find the late great Senator Vazquez. She knows her efforts to lead her followers to a safer place were all in vain.
Arno brought a cage along that is filled with walkers who were killed because of her. He is about to unleash them on her when Paul comes out of the building and shoots. They manage to kill some of Arno’s men, but not all the walkers and Paul drops a stereo just as Alicia pulls him into a van and saves his life. He is so upset that he dropped the stereo, he says the music drowns out his wife’s voice, the last thing he heard was her screams. She tells him that she understands, she has a voice that she cannot get rid of.
She says when her fever was spiking she had this dream, the most vivid dream she has ever had. She was following a walker, she finally caught up and when he turned him around it was the same walker that bit her. The voice told him to follow him to Padre, that is what he did, she made all these people believe in her. And, it was just a dream. She says all these people died because of her and that voice is all that she can hear every time she closes her eyes, every time she manages to sleep. He tells her that he will take her up on going with her, he thinks there is a reason why they met. She tells him that he needs to stay away from her when Arno comes back for her. He asks her if she trusts him, and she says yes. Arno left Paul a walkie-talkie and told him to call if he say, Alicia, he calls him and tells him to meet him at his house after dark.
Back at the house, Paul tells Alicia he is going to help her take out Arno. They talk about her dreams and tell her that she should continue to listen to them, don’t drown them out. Arno arrives with a handful of men, his hand is hurt. He is calling for Alicia when Paul turns on Beethoven full blast, the speakers are shaking. Walkers are all around, the music has brought them there. Arno and his men take the back door, Alicia is knifing one walker after the other in the forehead. Alicia tells Paul there are too many. The stereo stops, it burned out.
Arno has a gun aimed at Paul and a walker jumps Arno from the back but not before the gun goes off. Alicia drags Paul to another room, she looks at the wound and tells him that it is not bad, she is not leaving him. They hear gunshots, she tells him that they have to go. He tells her to go. Arno made it from the walker jumping him. Paul starts to play the bagpipes so Arno can’t hear Alicia leave. We see Alicia running out on the lawn. Arno walks into the room, he shoots Paul who is crying. Alicia hears the shot and just keeps running. Then, she meets up with the girl again, Alicia falls down to the ground and closes her eyes.
Next, we see Alicia walking down the same road, she sees someone walking. She calls out “hey” and then runs towards it. It’s actually herself and she says to her, “padre, follow me.” She wakes up, Morgan is there and tells her she is alright. She has a fever again, he tells her that she collapsed before they could get her inside. She asks where the girl is, he doesn’t know who she is talking about, he tells her she was alone when they found her.
Morgan asks about Arno, she says she is sorry, it didn’t work. He tells her they will find another way. She tells him she thinks she has another way. She tells him that she had a dream, she tells him that she is going to the bunker, there is a working transmitter there. He asks her if she is going to become Padre. She says she just wants to give people a safe place to live. He wants to go with her, but she says no, she just needs him ready when he gets back.
Arno and his man arrive at a large crater in the ground that is filled with walkers and Arno say he wants to take it for themselves.
THE END!
